South Eastern Conference and Everyone's Fav Boise State!!!

The thing I love about the NCAA and what makes it great is look at the SEC. I tweeted last week the SEC west had 5/6 teams in the top 25. So, essentially, the way the system is right now a team like LSU has to beat FIVE top 25 teams and after they beat them they have non-conference games (WVU, UNC both top 25 teams when they played), so, that is SEVEN top 25 teams (plus games vs Tennessee, Vandy, Ole Miss) thus 10 tough games.  That is a heinous schedule and if they lose today to Arkansas they will drop from #5 to say #11 and be out of a major bowl.  It is not fair by any stretch of the imagination to have a team go through hell and back and slip up once and have no chance.  The beauty about the whole thing is I said "last week the SEC west had 5/6 teams in the top 25". So, these teams had already played each other gave each other losses and there were still FIVE teams in the top 25!!! Boise plays yesterday against a team no better than Tennessee and they lost.  So, Boise State faces a schedule 1/7 the difficulty and slips up against NEVADA!! Are you saying that they would be say 7-5 in the SEC??? Maybe. Is a 7-5 team worthy of a National Championship, BCS Bowl, Conference Chamiponship? The answer is NO! That is why you need to stop listening to this Boise Shit and have a playoff where you give the TCU's and Boise State's a chance so they don't mess up the whole system.  What do I mean?

I'm saying this is a numbers game and with an eight team playoff you give the 8 best teams a chance so teams can lose, go undefeated, overcome adversity, and you can give bullshit "non for real teams like Boise State a chance to gobble up one of the eight spots".  Now, usually justice will be served and the Boise States will lose regardless so their chance for the national championship is irrelevant but with this system you can act like you care about them and if they go undefeated you can't deny them a chance for the national title.

FST Rankings

1) Oregon
2) Auburn
3) TCU
4) Stanford
5) Wisconsin
6) Ohio State
7) Arkansas
8) LSU

*Please note that a loss is a minimum drop of 3 places in the top 25 rankings. That is put it just in case some #1 team loses the last week of the year because they would still deserve a chance to play for the national title.

9) Oklahoma
10) Boise State
11)Michigan State

As you can see here, I will preach this propoganda as much and as long as I have to until the NCAA wakes up and has a structure for ranking the best teams and has an eight team playoff to determine a champion.  Teams know they must place in the top 8 in the beginning of the year so they would have no one to blame but themselves for not making the cut.  There would be quite a debate for the last two spots in this years rankings. But 8 is great!!   These matchups are better than the previous post...hmm maybe because a certain team was removed from the rankings.  Still love Alabama can't believe they blew that lead yesterday.  Cam Newton put that team on his back and led them to victory.  It is a travesty if he doesn't win the Heisman.  Then again, it was also a travesty when Jason White stole the Heisman from Larry Fitzgerald.
