Pick of the Day: Princess Ameerah

Long time. No see. I had planned on putting Ameerah Altaweel up as the pick of the day last week in the absolute lock that was the Pats/Jets game but it's no biggie cuz she's right here.  Although I am not as confident and she doesn't accurately portray my confidence in the game b/c I think she is drop dead gorgeous.  Anywho, we will be going back to the Jets this week as they are playing the lowly Broncos.  Not a whole lot going right over there. I could even argue McDaniels put that franchise a few years back with his terrible combo of Thomas//Tebow instead of DEZ BRYANT (***) and say Devin Mccourty or some other defensive help. Still hate the Sanchise, the only reason he was #6 overall was b/c he was throwing to guys 20 yards open against Penn State in the Rose Bowl.

Pick of the Day: Brooke

My internet has been an absolute joke today (non-existent) and we are using stolen internet at the moment and getting kicked off every two seconds. So, Brooke Burke better treat us right because this has been the biggest pain in the ass post ever. I wanted to use Jenn Sterger tonight but we are going with an oldie in Brooke Burke. I will be bailing out any coward that found themselves in a hole this weekend, but i don't know how you could've because this was a pretty chalk weekend.  Basically, for tonight's game, the Dolphins won't be scoring many points so all Sanchez has to do is put up 24 pts and this is an absolute lock.

Pick of the Day: Berlin

Made big moves by following Playboy on twitter the other day. I may sound like an 8th grader but you know what it is probably the best person I follow at the moment. Not many people can show racks on racks on racks like Playboy. Ok this game is bout to start but I like the Bears at home vs the Vikes. The Vikes are terrible, but so are the Bears. Let the shittier team be the loser.

Pick of the Day: Irina

I almost made a mistake and put Minka Kelly out as the pick of the day.  I'm not knocking on Minka because she's gorgeous but she's no Irina Shayk.  I say the hotter the girl, the more confident i am in the pick.  Well, i just can't figure this one out.  The Arizona Cardinals are a joke and the New York Giants, although being mediocre, are a much better team than the Cardinals.  Sorry Larry Fitz i got nothing but love for you and it's still a sin that Jason White won the Heisman over you in 2003. Well, stop listening to me and look at her.

Pick of the Day: Tamiris

After the throbbing the Chiefs took from the Lions I would like to redeem myself with tonight's game. The pick of the day was going to be the Chiefs (+9) but fortunately I just used it as my pick for covers.com. It would have been seven in a row in a week so that got shut down.  However, tonight should be another dandy as the Eagles will be facing off in Atlanta as Michael Vick returns to Atlanta.  The Falcons are coming off an ass whopping from the Bears and the Eagles didn't look quite like the Alpha Team as they battled with the Rams.  But, I am a pretty big fan of Michael Vick and he shouldn't disappoint tonight in ATL.

Pick of the Day: Emily

This game could shake up the FST power rankings depending on how well the teams play today but the matchup will be between the New York Jets and the Dallas Cowboys.  This should be a great game. I found this lovely lady, and I feel the New York Jets are no doubt in my mind overrated because they have the "Sanchise" at the helm.  With that being said, I like the Cowboys in this matchup.

Randy Moss to the Steelers makes cents

Every free agent is the same. They want the big cities because they are usually the contenders. Randy Moss got screwed because he couldn't find a suitor, not because he can't play. He might want to miss training camp, but I know for a 100% fact that there aren't too many players like Randy. He can make plays that other people can't make. He is reported to be in great shape. He is still a 6'4" receiver as well that would help out in the redZone. I think Randy wants to play. I think he has something to prove. But if you want to think of it as a worst-case-scenario when looking at the investment, he will still demand a #1 or #2 CB every time he steps on the field. The threat of him catching a deep ball is in my mind clearly there. There's not too many guys who raise their hand when they want the ball...what a good student.

You are better than most teams because you have a great defense and a very good offense. Randy Moss doesn't make you great on offense either, because the O-Line isn't quite there yet.  However, Randy fortifies that WR core, but the line is still somewhat of a concern to me.

You have to look at it like a chess match. For every game. What do we do better? How are we going to stop/beat them? Etc. You look at the offense, when playing a top-tier secondary team like NYJ, by having Randy you are taking away a strength of that team and isolating or maybe even making it a weakness.  They are relying on that secondary to shut you down. Most average or poor teams, they have no problem shutting them down because A) NYJ defense is also great B) those teams lack WR depth C) there is an island called Revis. Revis shuts down a WR so they would have to choose Wallace or Moss, instead of Wallace. Moss would take up Cromartie and then you have 86, 88, 84, 83 to throw to.  Moss just gives you so much flexibility in formations and BA loves his different formations. And then when you play a team then doesn't have a great secondary you just torch 'em.

So when it comes down to winning ball games it is all just matchups. Certain offenses succeed against certain defenses and people are perplexed how it happens. This move makes an already explosive offense, a little more dangerous. I think signing Moss makes the Steelers the Super Bowl favorite in the NFL.

Pick of the Day: Who's this Carmen Electra?

Today we will be going with a dandy the Pittsburgh Pirates and Chicago Cubs. The Pirates struggle with power pitching so that could cause concern as Carlos Zambrano is starting for the Cubs. We have Maholm pitching whatever that means. It will be interesting to see D Lee face his old club and all that jazz, but more importantly to see his impact with the club; hopefully a permanent spot in the three hole. I like the Pirates because they have a better lineup that could potentially score 5-8 runs a game. I hate the odds were getting, bullshit in my mind, so don't bet the house.

Julio Jones Trade

I gave the ATL Falcons a B grade in this year's draft.

I would consider myself a pretty good evaluator of talent and every time I thought of a good 1st round pick for the Falcons (with their specific needs) the best I could come up with was Kyle Rudolph. I knew they would go offense to give Matt Ryan (next Tom Brady now) another offensive weapon to help the offense. Usually I don't think Arthur Blank and the Falcons make good management decisions but I think they got the best of us all this time.

The funny thing is the general "public" opinion is that the Falcons got hustled on the trade and Julio Jones wasn't worth the pick.  When we look back the best picks from that range will be Quinn, Fairley, and Julio Jones.  So, if the Falcons picked up someone like the 49ers Aldon Smith than yes they made a bad deal. The problem is in reality they got a hell of a football player in Julio Jones. Hands have been a concern for me but he's indoors 8 games so those drops will fall in my opinion b/c I'm sure him and Matt Ryan are playing catch right now as we speak.

Breaking down the trade I'm using quick statistics I'll say odds are two 4th rd picks don't make the Browns team. So, the trade will end up being Phil Taylor, 2012 1st (projected 30th overall), Greg Little for Julio Jones and technically they gave up Justin Houston as well --third team involved Chiefs.

The conundrum for me as an evaluator the players involved are all players I like:

Greg Little ...4th WR ranked by FST
Phil Taylor ..4th DL ranked by FST
2012 1st (were talking like 28+ overall)

FOR

Julio Jones ..2nd WR ranked by FST (with Ryan will end up being better than AJ Green)

AND

Justin Houston (KC Chiefs).. 5th ranked by FST ...is he a bust? He went 3rd round. I might have botched this ranking, yet I still have him as one of best 3rd round picks in terms of value. Sometimes value means bust because NFL teams smell weakness in a certain player and they end up actually being right, but I will stand by FST rankings...they are the best :)

..

I just see Holmgren sitting there with his cigar going hmmmmm (rich man obnoxious laugh) we picked up FST 4th ranked WR and DL from this trade and were double stacked in the 1st round next year. This kid really likes Greg Little a lot. So do i. Greg Little is an amazing talent and will be a star for the Browns for years to come.

I mean the Browns upgraded big time from this trade especially with these picks. That is the hardest part about evaluating this trade. But that is what I love about it most. Like were not talking Jabaal Sheard or any shit like that. Phil Taylor is a fucking monster. I'm scared of him as a DL prospect.  He's on the level of Haynesworth as a disruptive force in the backfield, pre-contract pompous bitch.

Yet at the end of the day, they will remember this trade as the Julio Jones trade. You know those bullshit questions ESPN asks Who will have a better career Julio Jones or AJ Green? Yeah, now Julio Jones is the lock because he is with Matt Ryan and ATL Falcons.

JULIO JONES 2011 PROJECTION
78 receptions, 1135 yards, 9 TDs
..I'm pretty sure this would make him best rookie WR of ALL-TIME, so that's what I'm saying

Most people would say this trade was won by the Browns but the problem is Julio Jones will end up being one of those receivers that we remember and all i think about with Julio Jones is Michael Irvin....he's a HALL of FAMER

Yeah congrats Browns you sniped FST's sleeper of the year with Greg Little (think Legarette Blount part deux) and that's what eases the pain of the trade for you as a Browns fan, but the combination of the QUINTUPLETS: Ryan, Jones, White, Burner, Gonzalez is way too enticing to pass up for two late 1st's   and a late two. (Falcons have been drafting shitty anyways) You know you get a 1st round pick even if you win the Super Bowl? ..yeah that's why it's not a big deal to do a little Time Value of Money calculation and give up next year's 1st (which is a fucking guarantee to be past 28th overall) and bring it to the present value and get a Julio Jones, because that future value next year might end up being pick #64 aka a win for the Falcons and FST. Some people will take quantity or quality of players in trades, I just prefer to have FST....yep Julio Jones is FST

Houston Texans vs ATL Falcons is the Super Bowl the NFL dreams about
....I still think the Super Bowl goes through Pittsburgh..and that's just Paul Pierce

FST Scouting Mock Drafting 101

Like I said before, I don't plan on predicting what these teams WILL do. I am telling you what they SHOULD do with their given set of needs. I am acting as GM of ALL 32 teams and will be nice and act in the best interest of all of the teams. I would Pick Patrick Peterson at #2 before Marcell Dareus so this mock draft isn't reality but it is FST...whatever that means

1) Carolina Panthers-- Cam Newton QB Auburn
2) Denver Broncos-- Patrick Peterson CB LSU
3) Buffalo Bills-- Von Miller OLB Texas A & M
4) Cincinnati Bengals-- Blaine Gabbert QB Missouri
5) Arizona Cardinals-- Robert Quinn OLB UNC

11) Houston Texans-- Prince Amukamara CB Nebraska
12) Minnesota Vikings-- Da'Quan Bowers DE Clemson; Locker; Mallett
13) Detroit Lions-- Mike Pouncey C/G (don't worry the draft won't fall this way b/c NFL teams aren't smart enough. You'll get a Prince, Bowers, Tyron, or Quinn
14) St. Louis Rams-- Corey Liuget DL Illinois

They Act Like it's My 1st Rodeo

http://tinyurl.com/3rm5c49

I'm just going to make this short and sweet.  Defensive Linemen are the hardest position in the world to draft. I kind of have a theory why (not gonna tell ya) but it is just a fact. Most people assume that it is a "safe" pick but in reality it is actually the opposite.  That just goes back to the "fact" that the american public is wrong on every subject matter and what the american public doesn't know, is what makes them the american public.

The point is the post below this talks about the litter of DL prospects there are in this draft.  I will guarantee there will be busts in the first round. The key is finding the busts so you don't set your franchise back a few years with a bust in the first round.  That being said I'm doing my first mock draft after this post and I will be acting as GM of ALL 32 teams. I will act in their best interest to the best of my ability. I am not going to predict what I think they WILL do because odds are there will be curveballs (Donte Whitner with 8th pick), Sliders (Aaron Rodgers with pick 24), and Screwballs (John Mccargo pick 26)...two of these were Buffalo Bills picks and they obviously don't know what the draft is all about as my wanna-be esteemed colleague Mel Kiper Jr would say. JK Mel but not really b/c Mel loves FST. The Bills pick #3 and will be on the clock very shortly.

Thank You Unexciting Players in the Middle of the Draft

9 Unexciting/Potential Bust 1st Rd Players (not in order).....not interested in these prospects

Cameron Jordan (BUSTah)
JJ Watt
Corey Liuget (nah)
Aldon Smith
Ryan Kerrigan (think shittier Chris Long)
Adrian Clayborn (think Tyson Jackson)
Muhammad Wilkerson
Phil Taylor
Derek Sherrod (BUST)

..unless Kerrigan, Clayborn, Taylor, or Wilkerson fell considerably or to my liking I would not include any of these players on my draft board.  This is the second tier DL for the most part.  You either make a move for the first tier or get value in later rounds.  Because most of you don't know that the production next year between JJ Watt (top 15 pick..everyone is on his nuts for some reason) and Marvin Austin (2nd rd) is night and day.  Why take Smith, Watt, or any of these bums before players that I like like Stephen Paea and Marvin Austin.  This just shows that the experts clearly don't have the exact science I do.  Hell I mean you are right-handed and I am left...   http://tinyurl.com/ylsmha4

What are the chances of there being a few Adam Carriker's on this list.....RAMS DL bust a few years back. Ran 4.9 and did all of the stuff that these guys did. Sorry fellas you didn't fool FST Scouting

Greg Little WR UNC

Sometimes I question why I even do this? I know the talent more than anyone else yet I waste my time trying to argue my points when someone questions me.  I will tell you this. Mark down this fucking post because if you want to know who the next Legarrette Blount or Mike Williams is then look at the title and write down the name.  I don't even know how to explain it.  You don't see it? Both Blount and Williams were two of my FAVORITE players last year because the so-called "EXPERTS" knocked them for no reason.  I watched their games, i watched their highlights, and I came to a conclusion that both of these players would be stars.  I only questioned Blount's speed but if you follow our twitter you'll see that after one of his runs I commented "i knew you had enough speed legarrette, thanks for making me look like a genius."

Now on to Greg Little.  The first name that comes to my mind in a comparison is clearly HINES WARD.  The sad thing is that you amateurs don't even know Hines Ward played QB/HB/WR in college at UGA.  I am 21 years old and I know this, that puts me at 9 years old when Hines was in college.  Greg Little played RB/WR and could be one of my favorite prospects this year.  He's got it all.  Tall, Strong, Elusive, Bull, Blocker.  (Let me remind you my fav prospect of '08 Chris Johnson, '09 Dez Bryant, '10 PP, '11 Luck) I almost wanted to say he reminded me of Braylon Edwards b/c of their 6'3" 4.5 speed but I think Little should be used more in a Hines Ward role (possession WR...but Little has ability to go deep) where he catches short passes, blocks, reverses, and any type of play where you can get Greg Little in space...maybe even line him up in the back field. He can catch the ball and has strong hands.  If the Steelers had any type of intelligence at all and I will send them something in an effort to persuade them b/c I love them so much (but i will fail miserably) they should trade down in the 1st round and get a few 2nd round picks because this is a deep draft with plenty of 1st round talent in the 2nd round.

Greg Little is a perfect example of this.  Unfortunately, he comes with baggage but so did Mike Williams and Blount and that is why they are part of the 3 way comparison.  Greg Little may look like Mike Williams now but he will look like Hines Ward in the future....a HALL OF FAMER. It just drives me crazy. Greg Little knew he would be a football player and either got money, contacted an agent, or both.  That does not take anything away from his FOOTBALL ABILITIES!!! Why does he drop in the draft? Character concerns? That's a pile of bullshit.  Just like how Mike Williams didn't give a fuck about school so he didn't go and eventually got kicked off the team.  These players might know they are NFL talent. I know that these specific guys are NFL talent.  So, let them be NFL players and let the other dumb teams pass on the talent.  Everyone always says Randy Moss was cancer.  On the Patriots he was quite fine if my memory serves me correct.

So, Bengals, Browns, Ravens, if you are interested in a great talent that has potential of being a HOF then feel free to draft Greg Little .  Because Steelers management are hypocrites and
will trade a top 10 WR (who is 'not squeaky clean') for a 5th round pick but won't trade a top 5 QB that was even less 'squeaky clean'.  I know when I go to Heinz Field there is a sign that says "zero tolerance" and if the Steelers really lived up to their word and there was zero tolerance than Big Ben wouldn't be a Steeler.  That means we won't be drafting Greg Little this year...and I question if he is even on the draft board at all for the Steelers because of the "red flag" concerns.

...i've never said this but when i go home this summer I'll make sure to put up a letter to myself that I wrote in the 5th grade for our year 2000 time capsule.  We were allowed to talk about anything.  I chose to write about the NFL draft.  That is all I wrote about.  I talked about my friends, music, and the NFL draft.  What 5th grader does that? I also started looking at the stock market in the 5th grade and have been following ever since. But I talked about my favorite players of that draft and they were: LaVar Arrington, Courtney Brown, Peter Warrick, Shaun Alexander, a few other players, and the last name on the list................................TOM BRADY QB.

The only reason I do this site is b/c people say you need a track record so I guess I have been dishing out lucid information for 11 years....just like stocks which you can follow @gogreenGGI. Maybe one day it will all pay off

Pick of the Day: Salma

Apparently all you need in the world is a billion dollars because Salma Hayek is married to some billionaire schlub.  This is maybe a lock of the week but the world is so confused they don't know who is going to win this matchup.  The game is San Diego St and UCONN.  That side of the bracket has been chalk DUKE-UCONN in the Elite 8 so why change now. Last time I said that the Steelers lost the Super Bowl so act accordingly.

2011 NFL Draft Quarterbacks

1) Blaine Gabbert QB Missouri
2) Cam Newton QB Auburn
3) Ryan Mallett QB Arkansas
4) Jake Locker QB Washington State
5) Andy Dalton QB TCU
6) Christian Ponder QB Florida State
7) Colin Kaepernick QB Nevada
8) Tyrod Taylor SLASH (QB/WR) VT
9) Greg Mcelroy QB Alabama
10) Ricky Stanzi QB Iowa

-Please note: I'd take Cam Newton over Blaine Gabbert (if I was GM, big IF) because I believe a hybrid offense is the most effective and I would design an offense around him to make sure he succeeds.  However, no one has my creative mind and plays so in a normal NFL offense I love Blaine Gabbert and I think his skills are comparable to a Troy Aikman down the road. Aikman had Emmitt and Michael, two more Hall of Famers, so he (Gabbert) can't carry a team like a Manning, Elway, Marino, or Luck can/did/will. Whoa! ...lucid

Pick of the Day: Irina II

Please note that I was bored and this is not a regular thing but Irina Shayk was just looking so good in this picture I figured I'd give you beasts something to look at while you massage your junk and eat Cheetos in your cubicle.  Cheetos are delicious.  The Penguins have been playing well but they are playing in Detroit tonight after a heartbreaking loss yesterday (plus all the injuries).  Usually I'd rep the Penguins and would take Pens +1.5 goals but the play is Detroit moneyline to win. I'd say there is maybe a 25% chance that both bets (Pens +1.5 goals and Detroit (-160) cover, but I'd favor Detroit because the Penguins are banged up.  Beauty and the Beast(s):

Comment on Mel's Mock Draft

Usually I leave the Cleveland comments to myself but if the Browns seriously took JJ Watt DE over Marcell Dareus DL I would have no problem getting arrested for running around naked through the deserted streets of Cleveland. Dong flopping through the wind and all. I like where your head is at Mel. Cleveland sucks!!

Updated Detroit Lions Pick #13

Who said 13 was an unlucky number?

13) Tyron Smith OT USC

...he is by far the best OT prospect in this draft so I hope the other "gurus" disagree with me on this one. I talk about VALUE all the time and here is a perfect example of getting it.  He is a much better player than Jason Smith and Trent Williams and both of those bums went top 5. Just because you have a need doesn't mean you take that player, hence the creation of the bust.  Side note Nate Solder is a BUSTah. I no longer like this prospect after his 21 reps of 225. But Tyron Smith is going to be a good player for years to come and is a perfect fit of VALUE and NEED for the Lions at pick #13.

...I hate taking offensive lineman in the first round unless they are true impact players like Joe Thomas, Jake Long, and Maurkice Pouncey.  Those are the only three *** OL I have in my rankings.  Offensive lineman are going to get beat on plays regardless so the difference between an average OL like Anthony Castonzo and a 4th rd lineman isn't much of a difference.  They key to the draft is VALUE.  I have followed the NFL draft since 1999 when I was 10 years old and every year I see mid-round and undrafted lineman outperforming 1st round pick lineman.  It just doesn't make sense unless you know you are getting a special player.  You don't just draft a player because you have a need there.  You have at least 7 picks and you can find a OL or two with some of those picks.  Every year I would probably take BPA (best player available) because I would never reach for someone just because we need that position.  We would be a better TEAM if we draft a player that we know is going to be a good player and contribute to the team as opposed to a reach who has a high probability of BUSTING.  Luckily team after team makes reaches and allow my team the Steelers to gobble up players like Rashard Mendenhall and Maurkice Pouncey when we had no business getting either player.

According to my followers, demand seems to be high and the supply I am offering has been pretty low, but don't worry we'll find an equilibrium as the combine and the true scouting of these players takes place in the upcoming months.

Steelers Keys to Victory

1) Run the ball
2) Control the clock (thus keeping A Rodg on the sidelines)
3) Play good defense
4) Get the ball to Miller
5) At least one big play to Mike Wallace
6) Protect Ben...give him time

Just the recipe they have been using for over 40 years and if they follow it they will return to Pittsburgh as Super Bowl champions.

Pick of the Day: Angela

Today we will be going with the Pittsburgh Steelers over the Green Bay Packers.  We have had the Steelers all year long in our Super Bowl poll so it would be unwise to jump ship now.  We will be going with the Steelers moneyline over the Packers today.

13) Josh Freeman **.33
14) Matt Schaub **.33

Clueless NASCAR Tim Cowlishaw wrote an article about the top 10 QB's and he had Mark Sanchez and Josh Freeman on the list...there's a reason we don't listen to him when we talk football.  Mike Vick fits the FST criteria as a *** but he is not a top 5 QB...meaning leadership, clutch, good decision-making, winning Super Bowls, etc.  And it looks like the Chargers made the right move in getting rid of Brees b/c Philip Rivers is one notch above him in the rankings..GO CHARGERS GO!!

Super Bowl XLV Keys to Victory-Packers

Defense (is this stating the obvious tho?)

1) Stop the Run!!! Don't let Mendenhall gash your offense for 4-5 a play.  The Steelers are at their best when they can run the ball and run play-action (PA) with Ben; because then he has even more time to make a play when the play breaks down and the Steelers go well there's our offense "BEN MAKE A PLAY"...that is the name of the offense if you didn't get it

2) No Big Plays!!!  I don't think Charles Woodson can hang with @wallace17_dakid so they need to control Mike Wallace and not allow him to make a big play.  The Steelers should counter that by running quick plays that get the ball in Wallace's hands very quickly (such as screen, slant, in, out, curl....aka the Mark Sanchez offense) that give him a chance to make a play with his feet.  Then you run your PA and put a dagger through their throat on a 70+ bomb for TD by Wallace.

3) PRESSURE THE QB!! BJ Raji vs Pouncey or Legurksy....if Pouncey plays (and is healthy) the Steelers win this game because their offense can make plays on the Packers defense and their defense [Steelers] should be able to keep Rodgers in check.  BJ Raji is a force to be reckoned with and if he lines up against Legursky (Pouncey injury) he should kick his ass all day long. Clay Matthews will be ready to play and he needs to reek havoc in that backfield all day long because they not only need to pressure Ben but they needs to bring him down as well.  Clay is one of the say 6/11 players on the defense that can even bring Ben down for a sack....last week Ben had a play where 5 Jets grabbed him and they blew the whistle because his progress was obviously stopped.  He can't get hurt if he doesn't go to the ground!!

Offense

1) Attempt to run the ball.  You will fail but if at first you fail, try, try, again.  They need to run "tricky" runs because dives, off tackle, and sweeps don't work on the Steelers D. Maybe throw the Kuhn a touch here or there.

2) OL Protection. The line needs to play well or they won't win this game.  The Steelers have various blitz schemes and their OL needs to be ready to pick them up.  Aaron Rodgers is a huge help to his OL because he gets the ball out of his hands in 3 seconds or less every time.

3) WR?? Who can make a Play?...I can!!...With Aaron Rodgers this has less of an impact because he finds the open guys and doesn't care who it is.  But I think their receivers are very average at best.  James Jones and Jordy Nelson wouldn't be players on my football team.  Jordy because he is a average white WR. He isn't like Ed Mccaffrey who has hands and is 6'5" or like Wes Welker 5'9" but quick as hell. He's more of a tweener not fast, not overly tall, and is just overall average.  Donald Driver doesn't scare me at all but he will most likely be matched up against William Gay so he could have a chance.  Greg Jennings is pretty good but Ike will be covering him and Ike Taylor could be one of the top 5 fastest corners in the league.

Pick of the Day: Miranda

I've never been completely blown away by Miranda Kerr but she is a victoria secret angel and she is from the breeding grounds of hot chicks...Brazil.  I'm not sure how she will fare tonight because I am going against the Indiana Hoosiers again.  Every time I pick against the Hoosiers they don't have a problem losing the game but they manage to cover every time.  But fuck 'em they stink and the only reason the spread is (-4.5) is because we are playing at Assembly Hall and the oddsmakers respect that hostile environment.  Nevertheless, Illinois is too good of a team to lose to Indiana.  I would say the absolute lock would be Illinois moneyline because Indiana won't win but I like to live dangerously....

Pick of the Day: Illinois (-4.5) @ Indiana......................ILLINOIS

Do You Guys Like Sweet Tracks??

First Look at the 2011 NFL Draft QB Class

1) Cam Newton QB **.5
2) Jake Locker QB **.25
3) Ryan Mallett QB **.25
4) Blaine Gabbert QB **
5) Andy Dalton QB *.75

other notables
1) Tyrod Taylor
2) Colin Kaepernick

Usually at least a ** ranking merits a future NFL player and this QB class is only first round heavy and then literally nothing.  The top 4 QB's should go in the 1st round and the QB that is least like the others and doesn't belong is Blaine Gabbert.  I haven't seen a whole lot on Blaine Gabbert so I can't totally trash him but the other 3 QB's seem like legitimate NFL QB's.  It is funny though that Gabbert is receiving the most hype and I feel he has the highest chance to bust out of these top 4 QB's.  Yes I think Jake Locker will be a good QB in the NFL.  He is the perfect QB in a west coast system that requires the QB to move (SF? SEA?).  Mallett is the typical pro-style QB and he might end up having the best career out of this class.  I think the 49ers, Seahawks, and Cardinals could all very well draft QB...although realistically only one or two of those teams will.  IF Andrew Luck had come out this class would have rivaled the 04' class with at least 3 starting QB's but he decided to get an education...idiot.

Pick of the Day: Leeann

She used to be my favorite female reporter.  She is now 37 years old but in her prime I would argue that Leeann Tweeden might have been better than Erin Andrews and all of those other bimbos that we all know and love.  Leeann is just like perfect really.  You know she is a freak in the sack and she has a perfect body, face, and she loves sports and poker.  That is a very rare combination unless you are dealing with pornstars but Leeann is clean so brownie points for her.  However, tonight reminds me of the female reporters of today because there are so many games tonight that are enticing.  Unfortunately, I can only pick one and that has to be Nuggets (-2.5) @ Pistons....the Pistons are a fucking joke

Pick of the Day: Nuggets (-2.5) @ Pistons.............NUGGETS

Pick of the Day: Deepika

I chose this girl for two reasons: she reminded me of an old friend who fell off my bunk at the PKP slay chamber "aka one of John Buell's twins...but not really tho" and she was FHM sexiest woman in the world  2010.  Her name is Deepika Padukone.  This game tonight has to be a trap game because I love it as much as Deepika.  Her name is even sexy Deepika..or (deep-in-ya?) Ok that is enough greed...although GREED is GOOD.  The game is UCONN @ Marquette.  UCONN is receiving 4 points in this matchup and I say they win outright. Thus, I will be taking the money line to receive better odds instead of taking the spread on what Vegas believes the line should be.

Pick of the Day: UCONN (+155) @ Marquette....................UCONN

Stock Tip of the Day: too late for you..LOL..but APP opened at $1.00 I felt it out and pulled the trigger at $1.09 (ETrade tax of .02 because I tried at $1.07) and it is now $1.18....so sorry but APP was the play today. You have to follow @gogreenGGI if you want to hear me spit that stock fire

Pick of the Day: Brooklyn

Been streaking with the past few Pick of the Days and I think the streak will continue tonight with the college basketball game Notre Dame vs Pitt.  Two Big East teams (although they should both be in the Big 16) and I have to take the points tonight. Notre Dame is the pick.  Brooklyn Decker will make her 1st appearance on FST.  Maxim scouting has her as the #2 hottest woman in the world and that is just clueless analysis in my mind.   Brooklyn is not a dime.  The easiest way to explain the fact she isn't is the amount of time it took to find a Pick of the Day worthy picture of her versus "true" dimes like Adriana and Irina.  A little tidbit of irrelevant info but lucid nevertheless

Pick of the Day: Notre Dame (+11) @ Pitt................NOTRE DAME

Pick of the Day: Adriana IV

Sorry but my roommates are taxing me hard with their refusal to call comcast and fix our internet so I had to just pick a girl we have already covered...new pic tho.  Today we will be going with the Steelers and Jets game.  Adriana Lima will be making her fourth appearance today and after today she will have to take a break because she has been peppering the pick of the day and we need some 57 Varieties in our life.  All right bring the track.....Steelers money line is the play

Pick of the Day: Jets @ Steelers (-200).........STEELERS

....it kind of works out great because Irina Shayk is kind of making me feel like she is going to be the next Adriana Lima so Adriana had to follow her in pick of the day (future and past kind of thing)

Pick of the Day: Irina

For those of you who thought you were going to see a 10/10 confidence today you were wrong.  It does not exist yet.. However, Irina Shayk is going to make her debut today.  Usually I try to pick a girl that reflects my confidence in the pick.  The hotter the girl, the more confident I am in the pick.  I think today's pick is a pretty much "lock".  Temple @ Xavier....so, I'm saying Irina Shayk is like a 9.89/10 so yeah we like Xavier a lot.

Pick of the Day: Babe

I came across this lovely gal on some website and I instantly fell in love.  I have no idea what her name is but all I know is that she's FST worthy.  I think this game tonight is a lock but the odds reflect that.  A $100 bet will only yield a return of $37.  The game is Tampa Bay Lightning (+1.5) @ Florida Panthers.  The Lightning should win this game outright but if they don't we have a one goal buffer.

Super Bowl Poll

Pretty lucid all year long the top 4 AFC teams VS the NFC.  I didn't put an actual NFC team in there because I didn't think the NFC could win it this year.  However, the Packers will pose the biggest threat to an AFC team.  There was no "ELITE" NFC team they were all pretty mediocre in my opinion and once again if you want lucid information don't go to Bar Stool Sports, just go @FSTscouting.  You get actual results.  Pick of the Day coming back tomorrow with some dime but she has no name...at least i couldn't find it..

...more mocking with the Detroit Lions

My early prediction for the Detroit Lions was fairly accurate.  I had them taking Nate Solder OT Colorado...Mel had him going #12 and Todd Mcshay had him actually going to the Lions at #13...FST
