NFC Championship Game

After the Eagles loss tonight the future has already been predicted.  Eagles @ Falcons...that is not a prediction..that is what it's gonna be..

Pick of the Day: Angel (Adriana II)

Sorry about the hiatus but it is good to be back.  We're coming back strong with Adriana though so it's all good.  This is the only time you will see Adriana at a 7 confidence level.  Iowa would be such a sleeper pick to win (in my eyes) because they aren't that good of a team and they have 5 losses in the Big Ten. Plus, Mizzou has Blaine Gabbert at QB...he is a pretty good QB.  Going to be a good one to watch!!

Pick of the Day: Mizzou (-2.5) vs Iowa.......MIZZOU

Stock Tip of the Day: AAPL....solid as a rock BUY that stock NOW!!

Pick of the Day Confidence: 7/10

John Kerry

"If you haven't figured out how good Vick is by now, we don't know what to tell you. He has been responsible for 12 touchdowns in the past four games alone and appears to just be getting warmed up."     -ESPN

-that was their witty response for his fantasy matchup this week..projected 25 points. ESPN when you were busy bashing Michael Vick and saying he might never play again I was sitting there waiting (just like Michael) for his release from prison.  I knew he was going to be a stud and it was only a matter of time before he would bust out.  This little blurb is called John Kerry because oh how fickle we [ESPN] are for flip flopping on Michael Vick.  You bash him and bash him for two years and now when he has returned to the elite status you jump back on the wagon and act like you've been there.  You haven't!! And being a smart ass about it doesn't make you look any better.  What he did was wrong. Yes.  That doesn't take anything away from his athletic abilities or make him a lesser player.  I never jumped off the bandwagon because you can't jump off the bandwagon of the most electrifying player in the NFL..did I mention he is a quarterback.  Notoriously a position held by a slow, white, unathletic person.  I love Mike Vick. I hated Vince Young. I love Cam Newton.  TBD Terrelle Pryor.  FST out.

Pick of the Day: Aylar

Today we went with the Basshunter girl Aylar Lie.  She's pretty great and so is the Indiana Hoosiers Basketball team.  Well the Hoosiers aren't there yet but in a few years FST sees them as a for sure top 15 team every year.  Basketball is huge in Indiana.  They love it and that is why they breed 6'7" basketball players turned doctors.  Yeah Indiana is a great state!!

Pick of the Day: Indiana (-4) vs Northern Iowa........INDIANA

Stock Tip of the Day: I'm not really sure what to tell you here...BAC, SPF...ODP (ODP not anymore tho UP 7% today) ....check our investing twitter (@gogreenGGI) and link at top to Go Green Investments blog.

Pick of the Day: Jenn

An interesting pick here today as we are going with Brett Favre's favorite squeeze and against his alma mater.  Maybe we are inferring that he is guilty because we are going against his team but I can never know for sure.  We need Louisville to improve to 4-0 in bowl games....we posted our picks a few posts back!!

Pick of the Day: Louisvile (-2.5) vs Southern Miss.......LOUISVILLE
....lines via covers.com

Stock Tip of the Day: Southern Pacific Corp (SPF)...wrote about it on the investing blog yesterday and it's up 2% today and 2% yesterday.

Pick of the Day confidence: 5/10

Pick of the Day record: 4-4

Monday, December 20, 2010

Pick of the Day: Selita

I think we are sitting at 4-3 for the pick of the day record and we will try to improve that with tonight's Heat vs Mavericks game.  I must go with the Heat again so let's go.  I am not very confident in this game but the Heat will be playing at home and if their winning streak would get snapped before they play the Lakers on Christmas day it would happen tonight.

Pick of the Day: Dallas Mavericks @ Miami Heat......HEAT

Stock Tip of the Day: DELL (DELL)..i want this stock to pullback into the $12 range.  It is a historically  great play around $12/share.  If the stock goes the other way and starts to go up back to $14 then we will have to wait for it to drop again. So no worries.

Pick of the Day Confidence: 6/10

Pick of the Day Record: 4-3

DeSean Jackson ***

I saw the game winning Punt Return last night and this guy is an absolute stud.  My boy Mel Kiper Jr. and I had him as a 1st round grade (Mel had him top 10 at one point..Mel>Todd) but somehow a few intelligent GM's took some GREAT WR's over him.

2008 NFL Draft Round 2
1st WR Taken: St. Louis (#33)- Donnie Avery WR Houston
Washington (#34) Devin Thomas WR  Michigan State
Green Bay (#36) Jordy Nelson WR Kansas State    (isn't Ted Thompson considered a GREAT GM)
Buffalo Bills (#41) James Hardy WR Indiana
Denver Broncos (#42) Eddie Royal WR VA Tech
Houston Texans (#46) Jerome Simpson WR Coastal Carolina
Philadelphia Eagles (#49) DeSean Jackson WR Cal

According to FST calculations, I count one other notable WR on this list and it is Eddie Royal.  The rest of them suck, are out of the league, or should be out of the league.  Don't come at me with that Jordy Nelson garbage either. Kinda funny every year I think the Eagles and Andy Reid have some of the best drafts (I was pretty high on Jamar Chaney their 7th round pick LB) and finally they are clicking and are probably last year's version of the New Orleans Saints.  The storyline is already formulating...Mike Vick returns to ATL for the NFC Championship game and then will have to beat either NE or PIT in the Super Bowl.  If you have been following the Super Bowl Poll we had the teams that  could win it and the NFC.  If the NFC has a chance Mike Vick is going to have to lead them to victory!!

Can I get an all PA Super Bowl PHI vs PIT?!?

SHAMEKA

I want to introduce you to this 10 team, 6 pt teaser, 25:1

In order of "Loch Ness"
1) Eagles (+9)
2) Cowboys (-1)
3) Saints (+7.5)
4) Falcons (-.5)
5) Jets (+11.5)
6) Colts (+1.5)
7) Texans (+7)
8) Bucs (+1)
9) Oakland (-1.5)
10) Arizona (+8.5)

Parlay coming now!!! Yippeee!

I just looked at the spreads and it brought a smile to my face when I saw the Baltimore Ravens and New Orleans Saints yielded a spread of only (-1) points.  Why does that bring me a smile? Well I said it was the game of the week (thus "on paper" it should have the smallest spread right?!) Well it does.  The american public was pretty close with the Eagles and Giants having a spread of (-3) points.  I tried to make a point a few days ago that the 40% (of the vote) that the NYG and PHI game yielded was the american public being the american public and once again FST just giving lucid information that no one else provides.  My game yielded the lowest % with only 15% of the vote so only 15% of the population is as good as Vegas...and that seems about right to me.  That is why Vegas makes so much money..because of the other 85%.  So what that is saying is I'm like Vegas and you are you....the person who gives money to Vegas.  Thus, at the end of the day who are you going to trust? Vegas or some "average joe"??? Well I guess the choice is yours.

Pick of the Day: Adriana

Ok for today's pick of the day we have selected Adriana Lima.  The game she will be representing was today's matchup of the Philadelphia Flyers vs New York Rangers.  As of right now, the score is 2-0 but I will continue this post as if I posted it before the game.

New York Rangers @ Philadelphia Flyers.....FLYERS

Stock Tip of the Day: A-Power Energy (APWR)....currently trading at $5.10

Pick of the Day confidence: 8/10

Pick of the Day record: 4-3

Pick of the Day: Tyra (gestern)

I want to apologize but yesterday we were traveling and were unable to update the blog.  However, we still made our picks and hit them.  Yesterday, we had to go with "The Boys" at the Gaaaaarden.  They trounced them so chalk it up.

Yesterday's Pick of the Day: Miami Heat (-5) @ New York Knickerbockers........EN FUEGO
.......lines via covers.com

Stock Tip of the Day: Las Vegas Sands (LVS)...this stock moves with the economy and it took a slight dip but is quickly recovering. I would hedge this stock all the way down to $40.  It won't drop below $40 so invest now at $46 and if it goes down BUY all the way down to $40.

Since we missed yesterday's pick of the day it was only fitting to provide an "old school" Sports Illustrated swimsuit model picture.  Tyra looks great (probably 90's picture) but now she is more interested in daytime television. Psshhhh you fool.

Pick of the Day confidence: 7/10

Pick of the Day record: 3-3

P.S. Amare (about Chicago!!!! post)

39 pts, 10 reb last night vs Celts #justsayin

Just FST Scouting!!

Kind of funny that Joe Webb is starting this week.  Most of you have no idea who this guy is...don't worry you're not missing out.  Every year I do mock drafts for the Pittsburgh Steelers and in the 7th round of every draft I picked Joe Webb UAB QB/SLASH.  However, Joe Webb was drafted by the Vikings in the 6th round.  I wanted Joe Webb as a Kordell Stewart/Randle El type player that would come in wildcat and goal line packages as a change of pace QB that could run or throw.  After we signed Randle El (and we already have Dixon) I started removing him from my mock drafts because that was a waste of a draft pick.  But the point is FST Scouting drafts rookies that are actually relevant.  What do I mean? Some names that found themselves in EVERY SINGLE MOCK DRAFT FOR THE STEELERS WERE: Mike Williams WR Syracuse (3rd round) or Jacoby Ford (4th round) [depending on what needs I addressed first], LeGarette Blount RB, Perish Cox (5th round), Joe Webb (7th round).  You might be asking yourself so what they aren't that good?? Your NFL team cuts these players (LATE ROUND GEMS...see (ABOUT ME section) and every one of these players has had a good year!!

Do any of your NFL team's late round rookies even make the team, play, dress, or start. Probably not! That is FST Scouting for you!!

Pick of the Day: Marisa

The Lakers were an absolute lock last night and I couldn't believe it was on Streak for the Cash.  If you hadn't noticed by now Streak for the Cash is ESPN's spin on Vegas as the spread for the Lakers game was 4 points yesterday and they had just choose a winner.  Now everyone who is anyone wants to know who is going to win tonight as football is the #1 sport.  Well I got it for you.  We will be taking the San Francisco 49ers (+10) in the Inconsistency Bowl (December 16th, 8:20PM ET) as the Bolts will be facing the 49ers.  In games with two teams that suck, who are also inconsistent, I will usually take the points.  I think Alex Smith is terrible but he played well last week and hopefully the 49ers show up tonight because they can still win the NFC West.

Pick of the Day: SF 49ers (+10) @ San Diego Chargers......49ERS
....lines via sportsbook.com

Stock tip of the day: Newmont Mining (NEM)...this is a gold mining company and it is approaching a BUY range again.  The stock is currently down today and trading under $60.  This stock is a good BUY in the $58 range but that is where some resistance is.  So be careful but once the stock approaches resistance and starts to go back up invest HEAVILY in NEM as it is a pretty safe stock.  If you invest heavy you can easily receive 8% return in a short amount of time.  Thus, a $100,000 investment would yield $8,000 in a week or two.

Pick of the Day confidence: 4/10

Pick of the Day record: 2-2

NFL MVP/Comeback Player of the Year

I don't know why there is even a discussion for MVP and Comeback player of the year.  I said a few weeks via our twitter Tom Brady had already locked up MVP and anyone who thinks any other player is more deserving is foolish.  The comeback player of the year is Michael Vick.  In the beginning of the year, I was sooooo confident Big Ben Roethlisberger would win comeback player of the year but Mike Vick has been too dirty this year and he is definitely more deserving than Ben.

NFL MVP: Tom Brady
Comeback Player of the Year: Mike Vick

What is the NFL game of the week for Week 15??

New Orleans @ Baltimore
Green Bay @ New England
Philadelphia @ New York Giants
Jacksonville @ Indianapolis
New York Jets @ Pittsburgh
(please note I used relevance to decide which game was the best/most enticing to watch)

..this was a sportsnation poll last night and I was SHOCKED to see the results of the supposed "best game of the week" by the american public.  Apparently, the best game here is Philadelphia @ NYG according to 40+% of the public.  It is quite ironic here that the answer I voted and the correct answer was voted the least by the public (Sportsnation F grade for drafting Chris Johnson with the 24th pick...oh no not AGAIN).  Does this surprise me? No. What the american public doesn't know is what makes them the american public.    (..tommy boy quote if you caught it)

The best game here is clearly New Orleans @ Baltimore (15% of the vote).  You have the best team in the NFC (if you don't think so, you're wrong) vs the Baltimore Ravens (#3 vs #5 in the power rankings). I don't know how else to explain it. That's the answer.  A great defense vs an explosive offense.  If this game was in New Orleans I would clearly take the Saints but since it is in Baltimore this game will be decided by 3 pts or less.

The next best game is (unbiased) the New York Jets @ Pittsburgh Steelers.  I see the Steelers winning this game and this is the game that has been on my schedule the whole year.  As you can see, two of these teams are on my poll of who will win the Super Bowl...thus making it quite an important/exciting game.  I would rate it less important than the Ravens/Saints because the Jets don't have what it takes to win the Super Bowl (anymore) mainly because of Mark Sanchez's ineptitude.  Thus, the Ravens and Saints (what NFC team means in the Super Bowl poll) is more of an important and better game because the Steelers could dominate the Jets...but unlikely Steelers 20 Jets 13

The third best game of the week is Green Bay @ New England.  I believe this is a better game (on paper) than the Jets/Steelers but I could see the Patriots winning by at least a TD so it won't be that good of a game.  The Packers are a very good team but the Patriots are a force to be reckoned with.  The Packers have too many holes for any playoff run and this is not the year for Mr. Rodgers.

Finally, Cedric Benson is selected with the fourth pick of the NFL draft.  This is the game that received 40% of the american public vote for the best game of the week.  The game is Philadelphia @ New York Giants.  I believe this game received the highest because of the two large markets in Philadelphia and New York...well at least I hope so.  This is a great game.  Yes.  Will it be close?  Yes.  Then why isn't it the game of the week? Relevance.  I can not fully deny the Philadelphia Eagles a chance of the Super Bowl because of Michael Vick, but I could very well see the New York Giants taking this game from the Eagles making the Eagles a wildcard team and almost eliminating the chance of the Eagles winning the Super Bowl.  New York Giants fans...sorry no Super Bowl for you this year. Your team is not elite. Maybe next year.

Game 5: JAX @ IND....despite all of the injuries I still see Indy winning this game over the bullshit non for real Jaguars.  Let's Go Sheriff!!

Wrap-Up
1) NO @ BAL (elite vs elite)
2) NYJ @ PIT (former elite vs elite)
3) GB @ NE (top 10 NFL team vs elite)
4) PHI @ NYG (almost elite vs top 10 NFL team)
5) JAX @ IND (Not relevant this year..sorry Peyton)

-using Kindergarten math you can evaluate and determine a game with elite teams is better than a game with non-elite teams.

Chicago!!!!

I just want to take a second and talk about basketball and this past year's free agency.  How time has passed.  I remember a few years ago waiting and looking at ESPN and thinking the 2010 NBA free agency would be the craziest of all-time.  I look at this year and this class is nothing to talk about so I won't.  However, the one name that sticks out is Carmelo Anthony and he NEEDS to go to New York.  Think about it for the game of basketball.  You now have the three best teams in the three biggest markets so there is more exposure and more money generated for the sport.  It also makes sense because adding a Carmelo Anthony to that roster and maybe (Tony Parker??) and you have yourself a squad.

1-Raymond Felton
2-Tony Parker (I love Manu Ginobli personally..he's a lefty)
3-Carmelo Anthony
4-Danilo Gallinari
5-Amare Stoudemire

Now you must be asking yourself what this has to do with Chicago?? Well I will tell you.  I just watched the Michael Jordan response to LeBron video and it just made me think of Chicago and how much of a botch it was this past summer getting Carlos Boozer over Amare Stoudemire (that's why I talked about New York earlier).  As you can see this year, Amare has been on fire and is almost unstoppable...Blake Griffin has been unstoppable and is my #1 PF (4) in the league.  Amare was only a few more million a year and he is more explosive than Boozer and would fit nicely with Derrick Rose...who is also explosive (can you say transition points??).   The Bulls should have never been trying to get LeBron from the beginning and should have settled for Amare..because to me settling for Amare is a hell of a deal! Then they should have tried for D Wade and once he said (Heat 3 Peat) they should have called Amare and struck a deal.  However, they settled for Boozer and that is not going to make this an elite team.  This summer was so important for the Bulls (because of their young core DRose/Noah) and adding a third piece to the puzzle such as Amare would make them an upper echelon team and a title contender. But now D Rose is going to have to take his game to a new level for the Bulls to succeed b/c the Bulls aren't better than the Lakers or Heat..but could beat Celts, Spurs, Thunder in a series.

Now looking back (in disbelief) I actually discussed the possibility of this kind of Chicago Bulls Roster and it is disgusting....get Amare 1st piece of puzzle then the rest will fall.

1-Derrick Rose
2-Dwayne Wade
3-LeBron James
4-Amare Stoudemire
5-Joakim Noah

After you get Amare you call D Wade and go "we got three stars here, why don't you return home and be part of a championship". He obliges.  Then you call LeBron James "king coward"(in some people's eyes) and go why don't you come to Jordan's house and put up 10 on the board..because that is the only way you can beat him!! He obliges and you use the rest of the roster as cow filler (these would be gems on FST teams).  However, now Jordan can clown on you LeBron, and he did in that commercial.  That might be the fuel you need to take your game and the Heat to the next level. So we will see what happens.

-also if you don't think that Knicks roster is sick then you are dumb and I can't explain it to you. King Coward II (R.N.) would love games in the Gaaarden with that roster!

Pick of the Day: Victoria

Close game last night and Evgeni Malkin had two goals in his return but it wasn't enough as the Pens fell to the Flyers and their 12 game win streak was broken. This pick is on streak for the cash and it is the biggest lock of all time.  I'm currently sitting at a streak of 5 and after tonight it will be six.  The game is LAL @ IND.  Please take the Lakers! That is all. Enjoy six of the hottest women in the world for the streak of 6.

Pick of the Day: LAKERS

Stock Tip for the Day:  McDonalds (MCD)...nice dividend and it is currently trading at 77.  Want to see it pullback to $75 and then you'll be looking at a 10-15% return in the stock and the last dividend was $.61/share or around a 1% gain.  McDonalds is always a safe investment and a decent return at the current trading price...minimal risk!!

Pick of the Day record: 1-2

Tuesday, December 14, 2010

Pick of the Day: Denise

Tough break last night with the Heat winning by 12.  Hornets were covering and in good shape up until the first half (Hornets winning at half) before they started to unravel.  I am not extremely confident in tonight's pick but the Penguins have been dominant and Evgeni Malkin is supposed to play tonight.  The Penguins could very well be the best team in the NHL right now and they have been playing without Jordan Staal, Evgeni Malkin, Zybanek Michalek, and a few others during the season....so they will only get better.  Hopefully the Penguins will look as good as Denise Milani tonight.

Pick of the Day: Penguins (+111) @ PHI......PENGUINS
....lines via covers.com

Stock to invest in: Apple (AAPL)...this is a long-term position on the stock as we (Go Green Investments) value AAPL at over $400/share....currently trading at $320...add AAPL to your portfolio and it will look as good as Denise!!

Pick of the Day record: 1-1

Pick of the Day: Gemma

I am glad I kicked off the birth of the Pick of the Day with a Patriots trouncing of the Chicago Bears and a start of 1-0.  That was a 'cigar game' and I hope you either enjoyed it as much as I did or at least made a few bucks out of the deal.  I was able to watch the game with a few BEARS fans up until the point where CBS made the executive decision that they would switch the game b/c of the disgusting display the Bears were putting on for us.  Anyway, we went with Gemma Atkinson today as well as the Charlotte Hornets (+10.5). The Hornets are not a bad team and I was surprised they were getting double digit points @ Miami.  I am a Heat fan and I plan on double dipping this evening as in a Heat victory by less than 10 points!

Pick of the Day: Hornets (+10.5) @ Heat......HORNETS

Stock Pick of the Day: VISA (V) stock currently @ $80 and I expect the holiday season to help boost the stock in the 90's within a month!!

Week 15 Power Rankings

1) New England Patriots
2) Pittsburgh Steelers
3) New Orleans Saints
4) Atlanta Falcons
5) Baltimore Ravens
6) Philadelphia Eagles
7) New York Giants
8) New York Jets
9) Tampa Bay Bucs
10) Green Bay Packers
11) Chicago Bears
12) Jacksonville Jaguars

Projected AFC Playoff

#1 New England Patriots (14-2)
#2 Pittsburgh Steelers (13-3)
#3 Kansas City Chiefs (11-5)
#4 Jacksonville Jaguars  (10-6)
#5 Baltimore Ravens  (12-4)
#6 New York Jets (11-5)

I believe the AFC south will come down to the last week between Jacksonville @ Houston.  Houston will be out of the division but Jacksonville will need to win that game to finish with Indy at 10-6.

I also believe the AFC west will be won by the KC Chiefs b/c I see them winning out.

...that's the AFC.  NFC coming tomorrow as well as tomorrow's Pick of the Day!!

Pick of the Day: Eva

This is a new little frill to the website.  I'm going to give my favorite game of any sport and most likely be right on it.  The lines will be via covers.com. It will also include a lovely female lead actress or supermodel that you can look at while you read my little spiel.  I will also include a favorite stock of mine that you should consider investing in.

Whoops

I sympathize with anyone who had Colts (-3) that was brutal.  But we tease here so no worries 1 down, 9 to go....Bo Scaife as time expires...heinous  30-28 FINAL

I want to make it a point that for those of you who had Colts (+3) you were never losing that bet at one point in that game and that is why it was a lock and #3 on our "Loch Ness" list

Lock of the year already hits!!

Colts (-3) or (+3 if u tease) this game is already over with 1:53 left in the 1st....my prediction Colts by 17!! You're welcome.

Michael Vick

When I tell you I am the best talent evaluator I have ever seen I am not fucking around.  I got hated on when I suggested the Steelers needed Chris Johnson RB ECU and then once again when i suggest the Steelers sign Mike Vick.  This pretty much happens every time and I just let my knowledge do the talking (every time) because negligent, unintelligent people won't bring me down b/c I know talent when I see it and I'll just keep doing me..this is from my facebook from 2009, pre-twitter for me. Side note also said see ya to Willie Parker and Jeff Reed would be gone and finally the Steelers realized it was time for Reed to go a month ago.

My innocent just knowledgeable status- July 28, 2009

Would love to see Michael Vick in black and gold!

three responses
1) rapist and a dog killer...beautiful QB situation
2) hahahaha
3) no fucking way chris! i'm all for giving him a second chance, but not with the Steelers! we can win the super bowl without him. plus, we have zero cap room. so forget about it.

That is why when I tell you I am the best talent evaluator I really am.  All i do is provide lucid information and of course the "average joe" immediately hates on the decision.  We are now 1.5 years since that statement and you can see the results...#1 pro bowl vote getter, electrifiying QB, and possible super bowl starting QB.  Big Ben + Vick (on the same team) could be the most deadly combination of QB's of all time.  And yes Mike Vick deserved a second chance, we would win super bowls with him, and his salary is very low so any team had the cap room for him.  Today on Jim Rome he said "no one saw this coming"...i did!!! Mike Vick is a *** and one of my favorite QB's of all time.  Now could you imagine a backfield with Vick, CJ, and Big Ben....the possibilities are endless.  And you probably have a 15-1 team..no big deal

Patriots @ Bears

The spread hasn't come out yet because the Patriots played tonight but I would put the spread at (-8) New England....this game is played in Chicago as well. We'll see what the spread is probably tomorrow! Goodnight!!

Heisman Trophy Finalists

Here are the finalists and they should finish in this order:

Cam Newton
Lamichael James
Andrew Luck
Kellen Moore

4) Two non-conference games must be from Big 5, other your choice
5) Championship weeks include top 4 records for a four team playoff
6) Winner of Big 16 Automatic Bid to 10 team playoff (5 at large bids for the major 5 conferences [Big 16, SEC, ACC, Pac10, Big 12])
7) Nation's Conference winners receive extra BYE week for winning conference plus #1 @ Large team (i.e. 6 teams get BYE week, don't play on Jan 1 playoff bowl games)

Sample Big 16 Schedule: Indiana University..if we would ever become good

1) Non-Conference game @ Arizona [Pac 10]
2) Home Opener vs Miami (OH)
3) Big 16 Game Away (Illinois)
4) Big 16 Game Home (Iowa)
5) BYE
6) Big 16 East Game Away (Wisconsin)
7) Big 16 Game Home (Notre Dame)
8) Big 16 Game Home (Northwestern)
9) Big 16 East Game Away (Pitt)
10) BYE
11) Non-Conference Top 25 AWAY (ACC Thursday night @ Clemson)
12) Big 16 Home (Nebraska)
13) Big 16 Away (Texas)
14) Big 16 East Home (Penn State)
15) Big 16 game "NATIONAL RIVALRY WEEK" vs Purdue [Satruday 27th, Thanksgiving Week every year]

Big 16 Semis (championship weekend) December 4th
Big 16 Finals (Thursday night) December 9th

....i will not throw out the Hoosiers to the wolves and feed them to a SEC team

This season length is perfect in my opinion and the teams that aren't bowl eligible won't be playing past Thanksgiving.  We are starting the year a week earlier and are giving teams an extra BYE week so it cancels it out.  We are in essence planning a RIVALRY WEEK strategically around a holiday b/c families can trash talk and watch their favorite rivalry game with relatives...hoping families went to rival schools Pitt-Penn State, Purdue-IU, etc. so they pay money and go to the game and spend money to help the schools involved, NCAA, economy, etc.

Teams in bowls and the playoff are rewarded to keep playing by all of the money that will be generated from bowl games and playoff...teams are essentially begging for more games to help fund their football program. Reason for playoff is TCU this year/who is going to be left out next year? We made it 10 teams because everything is a top 10 thing and thus the top 10 teams are rewarded

Broncos Fire McDaniels!!

Good move by the Broncos and by the looks of last year's draft things weren't going to get any better in Denver.  His first mistake was Demaryius Thomas over Dez Bryant and then failed again when he took Tim Tebow in the 1st round.  I was one of the few who liked Colt Mccoy (who reminds me of a young Drew Brees: shortER,  pin-point accuracy, scrappy, football player) and he would have fit nicely in on that roster...but now they need WR, QB, DEFENSE, OL, and playmakers or ***.  They also need a new head coach and the top three coaches for next year are: Bill Cowher, Jason Garrett, and Leslie Frazier but all three will most likely not coach in Denver so Denver is going to be a bad ball club for the next three years.  The AFC west continues to be a joke and the Chargers and Chiefs will continue to get Christmas two times a year.

Heartbreaking loss

that Auburn was a tough one thought the 68 pts would be enough but it wasn't...oh well damnnn

Loch Ness of Chiefs over Broncos

This obvious answer is Chiefs at home, better team, better coach, needs this game to stay one up on Chargers.  I look more deep into this game and I see Todd Haley and how pissed he was from the blowout @ Denver a couple weeks back.  Since then, the Chiefs have emerged as the leader (not favorite of the AFC west) and need this game badly or will lose the division to the Chargers.  This is a rivalry game. Yes.  It should be close. Yes. Broncos might be more of the lock at (+15) I just don't see them winning the game so Chiefs (-2.5) is the play.

The manner in which the Chiefs lost and how they took it makes me say they want revenge....or they should.  Todd Haley refused to shake Josh McDaniels hand after the 49-29 thrubbing a few weeks back in Denver and in "his house" he wants this game badly.  He needs this game.  He WILL run up the score if necessary to show up Mcdaniels because these two have developed a hate for each other.  They will get their teams revved up for this rivalry game and it should be a good game, but the Chiefs are a lock tomorrow and #5 on our loch ness list!!

Response to World Cup 2018, 2022

People actually thought the United States had a chance!!!! You have to be kidding me. This is the World Cup every country is going to get to host it before they start going back to countries twice!! You people are negligent and stupid.  There is a reason FST has knowledge and you don't.  England had the best chance to host 2018 in my opinion but obviously the recent bickering cost them, or once again FIFA will spread the wealth before doubling up on countries.  I called Qatar because the bookies know what they were talking about (this information obviously leaked) and both favorites held at 3:1.  Russia and Qatar and two wealthy countries..well have extremely wealthy people in the country and I would say either bribery went down or information leaked and the rich got richer and drove the odds on Qatar and Russia to 3:1.  You are going to tell me that everything was hush hush and nothing leaked.  Bullshit. USA never had a chance and the valiant effort of William Jefferson Clinton was not enough this time...please no Hilary in office!!  USA held World Cup in '94 and we don't like soccer. What would make you think we would get a second chance on it that soon??? Just dumb.

World Cup 2018, 2022

I have no clue on the subject but #streak for the cash has Russia or the field and I'm taking the field on that one.  Russia not a good place for a World Cup.  I think the favorite has to be England or Portugal/Spain for sure.  As for 2022, I am going with the favorite of Qatar to take the home the World Cup and don't think the United States has any shot for it!!

I Thoroughly Enjoyed this!!

Post #50 doesn't get better than this

Introducing you to the "NEW POWER CONFERENCE".."THE BIG 16"...and the new ACC

Big 16 (great for football and bball)

West

Indiana University
Purdue
Notre Dame
Illinois
Iowa
Northwestern
Texas
Nebraska

..can be called Big East or Big West to decipher between the 16 teams or just Big 16 East/West

East

Penn State
Michigan
Michigan State
Wisconsin
Minnesota
Ohio State
Syracuse
Pitt

New ACC  (good at bball and football)

North

Boston College
WVU
Wake Forest
Clemson
Florida State
Rutgers
Virginia
Maryland

South

Miami (FL)
UNC
Duke
VA Tech
Georgia Tech
NC State
South Florida
Louisville

-yes what's left of the big 12 gets pooped on and maybe TCU and Boise State will join forces with the Oklahoma and Okie State, etc of the world and make a new conference..Big 12?

South

Oklahoma
Oklahoma State
Texas A&M
Texas Tech
Baylor
Hawaii

North

Kansas
Kansas State
Boise State
TCU
Iowa State
Missouri

..new 12 good for football and has potential for basketball minus (TCU, Boise, Utah). The Big 12 represents the FOURTH of the BIG 5 CONFERENCE SYSTEM (SEC, Big 16, ACC, Pac 12, Big 12)..could lead to a 10 team playoff (5 conference title winners , 5 at large)...everything is always a top 10 list!! (doesn't 70 top dog NCAA teams sound better than 117, other 47 still eligible for everything but not as much $$$$$$$$$)Set up the same way as the pro system below this post!

Playoffs as of today with my 36 NFL Team 10 team playoff

AFC East
New England    9-2
New York Jets    9-2
New York Giants     7-4
Buffalo Bills       2-9

AFC West
Atlanta Falcons   9-2
Indianapolis Colts    6-5
Tennessee Titans    5-6
Cincinnati Bengals   2-9

AFC South
Tampa Bay Bucs   7-4
Miami Dolphins   6-5
Jacksonville Jaguars   6-5
Carolina Panthers    1-10

AFC North
Baltimore Ravens    8-3
Pittsburgh Steelers   8-3
Philadelphia Eagles   7-4
Washington Redskins  5-6
Cleveland Browns   4-7

Rules 1) Top 4 Seeds Best Record (regardless of division)
2) Division Winners Must be at Worst #8 Seed
Higher seed home field
Top 6 seeds get a bye week
indents equal a change of week

Thus the bracket would look like this..

#9  Miami
#10 Jacksonville       #1 New England vs 9/10            #1 NE                #5 PIT

                                #4 Baltimore Ravens
                                #5 Pittsburgh Steelers               #5PIT

8  Tampa Bay         #2 Atlanta Falcons vs 7/8           #2ATL                 #2 ATL
7 New York Giants

                                #3 New York Jets
                                #6 Philadelphia Eagles              #6 PHI

...looks like it would end up Pittsburgh versus ATL or NE vs ATL.  A couple of interesting matchups including BAL vs PIT, NE vs PIT, ATL vs PHI (Vick playing @ ATL),  battle of PHI and NYJ (New York/PHI too big markets), FLA battle (Mia vs Jac....does anyone care tho? Not sure.), and maybe ending where we started with a rematch of week one but with PIT @ ATL this time. Please also note this is "geographically savvy" never going past the state of Indiana...the true 'East Coast' and AFC Conference!! And the #1 seed in NE would get their "second bye week" by playing MIA or JAC so they are still happy and in this case it also provides more competition for the bottom half of the bracket (because this would be a strong playoff and the deserving champion of the AFC).

-if you didn't notice the HORSE (Colts) would not be in this playoff..never go west of Pennsylvania!..wow!

Week 13 Power Rankings

SHaVon GOT the goods...20:1 ODDs

...i also took 2:1 on this bet with two of my buddies. GREED. LOL
.....stayed away from games i wanted to but to pick all the games I'd have (Dolphins (+2), Vikings (+1), Falcons (+3.5), Rams (+3.5))...teased 6.5pts

My Opinion on the NFC West

Here are the teams...

Seattle Seahawks  8-8
St. Louis Rams   7-9
San Francisco 49ers  6-10
Arizona Cardinals  5-11

This is the order they are going to finish.  It is not set in stone but i see Seattle going 8-8.  San Francisco was the favorite in my opinion (defense + good running game) before Frank Gore went down.  That injury takes them out of the race and Arizona is downright terrible.  Just heard Derek Anderson's rant and that guy should be out of the league ASAP.  He had never been good in the first place.  Funny but I remember my opinion on Derek Anderson was "at least he is tall"..That might help him sling the rock out there; but this "dufus" has no talent at all.  I can't even believe I thought he had any sort of talent.  As a youth, I remember watching him on the Cleveland Browns playing against the 'LERS and it drove me crazy when he would complete passes on our defense.  Which is the truth. Our passing defense has always been swiss cheese and why I want us to trade up to get Patrick Peterson CB LSU..but the point is Arizona is out "citing derek anderson"..SF is out "frank gore injured"..STL is out "Sam..rookie QB..won't go 8-8 with that team" leaving Matt Hasselbeck versus either GreenBay/Chicago or ATL/NO in a home playoff game in January. Good Lord..maybe why you need 36 NFL I proposed..10 playoff teams. Look at it this way if you're talking shit to your home boys when you say "you're running the AFC South" you really are.  ATL would be leading the AFC South (TB, CAR, ATL, MIA)!!

-Derek Anderson rant...          http://www.current-movie-reviews.com/sports/2010/11/30/video-derek-anderson-rants-at-reporter-after-laughing-at-loss/       @jimrome is killing it

-i would advise a certain friend of mine who has STL (to win the division) 9:1 on a $100 to bet $500 against the rams week 17 to guarantee victory in that bet...would've made you $225 last week dummy...shib.

Thoughts on adding a 3 minute warning to the game?

I think it is a good idea and another element that coaches would have to plan/account for.  This would only be at the end of the game (not in first half). You would have to plan your timeouts more carefully this way. I like the idea.

49ers a lock tonight! (-1)

A little tidbit on Colt Mccoy

"Colt McCoy is the real deal. He's also a perfect as example of why the NFL Draft is the ultimate crapshoot. No one liked McCoy - not Kiper, not McShay, not Mayock, not any draftnik surfing the Web. Not even Mike Holmgren was too high on him; he passed on him twice in Rounds 2-3, and finally picked him when he realized that Jake Delhomme and Seneca Wallace were his only quarterbacks."    -Walter Football

FST Response: I'm pretty sure Kamykowski and I were two people that liked Colt Mccoy. Most accurate QB..He was 1B to Sam Bradford's 1A of the 2010 QB class.

South Eastern Conference and Everyone's Fav Boise State!!!

The thing I love about the NCAA and what makes it great is look at the SEC. I tweeted last week the SEC west had 5/6 teams in the top 25. So, essentially, the way the system is right now a team like LSU has to beat FIVE top 25 teams and after they beat them they have non-conference games (WVU, UNC both top 25 teams when they played), so, that is SEVEN top 25 teams (plus games vs Tennessee, Vandy, Ole Miss) thus 10 tough games.  That is a heinous schedule and if they lose today to Arkansas they will drop from #5 to say #11 and be out of a major bowl.  It is not fair by any stretch of the imagination to have a team go through hell and back and slip up once and have no chance.  The beauty about the whole thing is I said "last week the SEC west had 5/6 teams in the top 25". So, these teams had already played each other gave each other losses and there were still FIVE teams in the top 25!!! Boise plays yesterday against a team no better than Tennessee and they lost.  So, Boise State faces a schedule 1/7 the difficulty and slips up against NEVADA!! Are you saying that they would be say 7-5 in the SEC??? Maybe. Is a 7-5 team worthy of a National Championship, BCS Bowl, Conference Chamiponship? The answer is NO! That is why you need to stop listening to this Boise Shit and have a playoff where you give the TCU's and Boise State's a chance so they don't mess up the whole system.  What do I mean?

I'm saying this is a numbers game and with an eight team playoff you give the 8 best teams a chance so teams can lose, go undefeated, overcome adversity, and you can give bullshit "non for real teams like Boise State a chance to gobble up one of the eight spots".  Now, usually justice will be served and the Boise States will lose regardless so their chance for the national championship is irrelevant but with this system you can act like you care about them and if they go undefeated you can't deny them a chance for the national title.

FST Rankings

1) Oregon
2) Auburn
3) TCU
4) Stanford
5) Wisconsin
6) Ohio State
7) Arkansas
8) LSU

*Please note that a loss is a minimum drop of 3 places in the top 25 rankings. That is put it just in case some #1 team loses the last week of the year because they would still deserve a chance to play for the national title.

9) Oklahoma
10) Boise State
11)Michigan State

As you can see here, I will preach this propoganda as much and as long as I have to until the NCAA wakes up and has a structure for ranking the best teams and has an eight team playoff to determine a champion.  Teams know they must place in the top 8 in the beginning of the year so they would have no one to blame but themselves for not making the cut.  There would be quite a debate for the last two spots in this years rankings. But 8 is great!!   These matchups are better than the previous post...hmm maybe because a certain team was removed from the rankings.  Still love Alabama can't believe they blew that lead yesterday.  Cam Newton put that team on his back and led them to victory.  It is a travesty if he doesn't win the Heisman.  Then again, it was also a travesty when Jason White stole the Heisman from Larry Fitzgerald.

More lucid knowledge like this could get on you on THE FORUM

A great football team does not blow a huge lead to the Nevada Wolfpack. You wouldn't see Nevada within 30 of a team like Auburn or Oregon.  -@jmsachez

Taking a look at MY NFL!! 36 TEAMS!!!!

36 Teams (Four new expansion teams: Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Honolulu, (East Coast Team, England? Canada?))...some type of global expansion
18 Regular Season Games
2 Bye Weeks
10 Playoff Teams/Conference
AFC (East Coast)/NFC (West Coast) (i.e. team relocation to correct conference, San Diego now NFC, etc)
Season Length: Aug 26-Jan 9
Bye Weeks: Week 4-16 (some teams get Thanksgiving byes to be with family, rotate every year)
4 teams get off Christmas week, rotate every year  (teams play pre-xmas whether that is M, T, W, R, F, S)
Addition of game on Christmas
Rivalries remain intact....rivalry week teams must play rival (Xmas time every year) CLE vs PIT, CHI vs GB, SF vs DAL, PHI vs NYG...
5 team divisions will play each year to match up (AFC East #1 vs AFC North #1...etc)
Bottom five teams gets easiest schedule the next year

Playoff
9 vs 10 on Thursday following end of regular season
Top 4 seeds are top 4 records regardless of division (home games)
Division winners automatic bids
Four wildcards or more

Taking a look at the AFC

AFC South

Tampa Bay Bucs
Carolina Panthers
Miami Dolphins
Jacksonville Jaguars

AFC East

New York Giants
New York Jets
New England Patriots
Buffalo Bills
(Canada or England...unless BUF moves to Canada)

AFC West

Indianapolis Colts
Atlanta Falcons
Tennessee Titans
Cincinnati Bengals

AFC North

Pittsburgh Steelers
Philadelphia Eagles
Washington Redskins
Baltimore Ravens
Cleveland Browns

Taking a look at the NFC!!

NFC South (the nice weather division)

Los Angeles
Las Vegas
Arizona Cardinals
San Diego Chargers

NFC East (dome/kc conference)

Dallas Cowboys
Houston Texans
St. Louis Rams
Kansas City Chiefs
New Orleans Saints

NFC West (we suck conference)

Seattle Seahawks
Denver Broncos
Oakland Raiders
San Francisco 49ers
Honolulu

NFC North  (the classic conference)

Minnesota Vikings
Chicago Bears
Detroit Lions
Green Bay Packers

-that is the way the divisions should be broken down b/c it is GEOGRAPHICALLY SAVVY.
-the way these conferences are as of today we are relying on the big city teams in the NFC (LA, CHI, DAL, HOU, SD, NO) to pull their weight b/c with the addition of 3 expansion teams in one conference that conference will suffer (i.e. be weaker) for at least a few years

-please note this is subject to change b/c I don't know if JAX and/or BUF will be relocating

To the foolish people thinking the NFC will win the Super Bowl?

At the time I put up the poll, vegas had the odds of any AFC team beating any NFC team as -150 or favored to win the super bowl so remember that if/when you vote on who will win the super bowl. Current line is AFC (-3)....not bad aye

ESPN did something RIGHT!!!

ESPN released its power rankings and they must've checked out this site b/c they have the same top 12 teams I do for their power rankings but their order is a little messed up...ATL still at the #1 spot I like them but I have them @ 8 OVERRATED...come on mannnn they are not the best, the Steelers beat them with Dixon @ QB..the NFC has to be better than that. Right? They are..the Saints are the best team in the NFC. [Jets OVERRATED as well]

ESPN Power Rankings

1) Falcons
2) Patriots
3) Ravens
4) Jets
5) Steelers
6) Eagles
7) Packers
8) Saints
9) Colts
10) Giants
11) Bucs
12) Bears

FST Power Rankings for Comparison

1) Saints
2) Patriots
3) Steelers
4) Ravens
5) Eagles
6) Jets
7) Packers
8) Falcons
9) Colts
10) Bears
11) Bucs
12) Giants

..i think it is safe to say the super bowl will be won by one of the top 9 teams in the power rankings

8 Team NCAAF Playoff

Hey this is just reason #111 on why the NCAAF should have a playoff:

FST RANKINGS
1) Oregon
2) Auburn
3) TCU
4) LSU
5) Boise St.
6) Stanford
7) Wisconsin
8) Alabama (pending victory over Auburn, Ohio State slides in if they lose)

Reason #111 for playoff: Look at the level of talent and please tell me that this way wouldn't be more profitable $$$ (NCAAF #1 concern...$$$) for the bowls and the NCAAF than the current system.  You have the next John Elway type of QB in Andrew Luck, "potential shut down corner" in Patrick Peterson, Cam Newton and that explosive offense, last year's NCAAF champion Alabama, everyone's favorite "cinderella teams" in Boise State and TCU, Oregon and their 60pt offense every game, and the Wisconsin Badgers a hard nosed big ten team that put up 83 on the Indiana Hoosiers (against the Hoosiers, but still impressive).

Obviously the rankings would change if Alabama would win this Saturday and FST would rank it like this:

1) Oregon
2) TCU
3) Auburn
4) LSU
5) Boise State
6) Stanford
7) Wisconsin
8) Alabama

FST Made up bowl games: For Example these games would be held on Jan 1st (hey actually good Jan 1 bowl games...I'm hungover give me FOOTBALL!!!)

Sugar Bowl: Oregon vs Alabama (maybe this year's champ vs last years champ).
Fiesta Bowl: TCU vs Wisconsin
Orange Bowl: Auburn vs Stanford (2nd best 1st rd game: best college QB vs best pro style QB, AKA the QB Bowl)
Rose Bowl: LSU vs Boise St. (LSU shaky but lets see that great defense and PP vs lets see how "for real" Boise St is vs a SEC team)

Then the second round would be the next Saturday Jan 8
FST Bowl: Oregon vs LSU
Google Bowl: Auburn vs TCU

National Title January 15th...
National Title (rotates every 7 years): Oregon vs Auburn (I am rooting so hard for Auburn this week [even tho I think BAMA will win] b/c I don't want to see Boise or TCU vs Oregon)

I just threw out three random bowl games at the end but you would need three more bowl games added to the four we already have and I'm sure companies would have no problem sponsoring a game like Oregon vs LSU or Auburn vs TCU or even the game everyone wants to see Oregon vs Auburn.  I just can't think of a reason why you wouldn't want to have a playoff:

1) It gives every team in every "contending conference" a chance for the national title.

2) It gives teams an opportunity to overcome losses and adversity during the season.

3) The NFL is trying to add two more games to the regular season so why can't the NCAAF?!?!? I have been against the NFL adding two more games for statistical purposes and records but I feel the only way the NCAAF is going to change to a playoff is if the NFL adds two more games because then the NCAAF can't argue that the players need more rest, etc because the NFL will be playing 18 regular season games vs 13 games.  Rookies need a smooth transition you can't just make them play 5 more games against "the NFL elite" and expect them to be successful and not get worn or burned out before the year is over.  Just like most things in life you have to give up a little (NFL adding two more games) to get what you want (PLAYOFF).

4) MORE MONEY

5) At the end of this playoff, you can't argue that the winner didn't deserve it because they will have to play at least two difficult games to win it all (cough cough TCU and Boise State this would be your first tough game of the year).

6) You give teams the opportunity to go 15-0 and you could start to establish "best ever" teams and establish "rank" in NCAAF history because they deserve it if they win it all.  Plus hell NCAAF step your game up, the NCAAB has 65 team tourney and so much drama in that tournament. It is hard to one-up them but hey let's get some drama of our own. With the current system, is Boise State or TCU really deserving of putting their name in history if Oregon, Auburn, or both lose this week and they both or one of them get a shot for the national title???  I love football and the NFL draft is my 5th favorite day of the year and I am telling you I would not watch TCU vs Boise State to determine the National Champion.

7) You give these young men a chance to live their dream...win the national title. It is not going to be fair to Cam Newton and Auburn to go the entire year undefeated and to get tripped up in a slugfest vs a hell of a ball team, a RIVAL, in THEIR HOUSE, (ya Alabama's house) for the LAST GAME OF THE YEAR and fall one game short (still have to play SEC champ but still some teams don't have Conference titles).  That is the most anti-climatic finish to the college football year.  With the current system, we would then have the pleasure of watching Oregon kill Boise State or TCU.

....the way I set it up here the NCAAF season would be elongated by 5 days and has jam packed action the 1st half of the month of January.  So, two teams would play one more game than everyone else, and the teams in the national championship would play two more games.....big deal?? I think not.

With a playoff, you also create drama which apparently "sells" in 2010. You have three SEC teams, (LSU beat Bama, Bama beats Auburn?). A possible re-match of Auburn vs Alabama in the national title game.  Could you imagine that? Alabama beats Auburn this week and squeaks into the top 8 so they are eligible for the playoff.  Then with Alabama and Auburn on separate sides of the bracket they could potentially play each other in the national title game.  However, Alabama you have to earn it to get to the national championship.  They would have to play the #1 team in the country (Oregon) and then LSU (whom they already lost to) to get there.  A playoff just creates so many stories and different scenarios that would generate more exposure to these athletes, as well as more money and more hype to the school in the playoff and would also make recruiting more easier....("hey we have been in the playoff for 8 consecutive years").  You would also give athletes like Andrew Luck and Patrick Peterson more "PRIMETIME ACTION" and exposure and help them raise their draft stock and show the NFL what they got..possibly making the NFL draft a more exact science b/c you see these players against "elite" competition, not Boise St vs Wyoming and say wow that Kellen Moore should win the Heisman. Shut up with that shit!!

My most convincing argument is look at what they got right now. According to CBS Sportsline, these are the projected bowl matchups. I count one enticing game and that is Auburn vs Ohio State.

National Title: Oregon vs Boise State....Oregon by 17
Sugar Bowl: Auburn vs Ohio State
Orange Bowl: TCU vs Virginia Tech...YUCK
Fiesta Bowl: Oklahoma State vs Pitt....YIKES
Rose Bowl: Wisconsin vs Stanford....where is that green YUCK sticker we got in 1st grade b/c we need it now.

It is nice to see Alabama getting rewarded though for going through a tough SEC schedule (10-2) and beat the #2 team in the country in the last week for nothing. What is your argument? They had two losses? They played in my eyes 7 "lose-able" games. Boise State played 3 (I counted Nevada, VA Tech, and Oregon St as their lose-able games vs Alabama who played 7 tough SEC teams and had to be prepared week in and out). Way to go NCAA!!

Asante Samuel working on his 1's and 2's

Look at the stat line on Asante Samuel.  One fumble, one recovered fumble, one lost fumble (that has to happen a certain way and you never see this)...and he had two INT's, two tackles, and two passes defended. I'm pretty sure Samuel has the most INT's out of any CB the past five years

Jesse Palmer Interesting Football Views, PLUS FST view on TCU vs BSU, Playoffs?!?!

His younger brother actually goes to school with me and lived on my dorm floor freshman year.  With all due respect to Jesse, I don't agree with his views very often.  He just said he thinks #19 Nevada is a "for real" team.  I don't want to express too much hate and have to rant but that is just a clueless statement so i will leave it at that.  If Nevada played any team ranked ahead of them (except maybe Texas A&M who stinks but always win at home so they squeak their way in the top 25).  I feel at least half of the Big Ten, ACC, SEC, and Pac 10 teams would have no problem DESTROYING Nevada so their top 25 ranking does not have any merit in my book.

He also said he also thought Utah would hang with TCU (they got blown out 47-7) and to me for non-conference teams I rank the teams like this:

1) TCU
2) Boise State
3) UTAH

I feel TCU is a better team than Boise State but I feel like I am in the minority on this view.  For some reason, everyone loves Boise State and it just confuses me.  I am apparently the only person who knows what Boise State is doing. Their conference, the WAC, is a complete joke so they automatically win 8 games a year b/c the next best team in their conference is NEVADA and to me they are a joke.  So, the unknowledgeable public is going to go crazy when Boise State goes into Nevada and wins by 14+ points this week.  So, they only need four more wins to "trick" the public in thinking they are something they are not.  So, they schedule non-conference games against WYOMING (worst team in MWC) and Toledo (MAC).  They are now at 10-0 before the season even starts.  They complete the schedule by playing Oregon State (i think Baylor vs Oregon St. is a good game) and the most overrated pre-season team year after year in VA Tech.  So, essentially their year came down to the first week of the year and when they won that they were essentially in the national title game.  To me, it is not fair all of these SEC teams face tough matchups week after week because of their conference and Boise State doesn't even think about losing those games b/c it isn't even possible.  A football season is long and the mental and physical preparation
week after week is draining and that is what the major conferences must do every week and Boise State plays high school teams every week.

So, you are probably asking yourself well isn't TCU in a cupcake conference as well? And the answer is yes but the MWC is much stronger than the WAC.  TCU actually faces anywhere from two to three tough conference games a year (Utah, BYU, and Air Force [Air Force is good and if you don't think so you are dumb...gave #7 Oklahoma run for their money and lost by 3 @Oklahoma) and Boise State doesn't face anyone.  The media will try to say the win against Nevada is a good win but it is not to a realist. The non-conference schedule is similar in difficulty in my eyes with TN Tech>Wyoming, VT>Baylor, and SMU>Toledo..Baylor and SMU are actually not bad teams and when you add that to the conference games you have 6 potential lose-able games for TCU vs only 3 lose-able games for Boise State.

Boise St Non-Conference
1) Wyoming (3-9)
2) VA Tech (9-2)
3) Oregon State (5-5)
4) Toledo (7-4)

TCU Non-Conference
1) Tennessee Tech  (5-6)
2) Baylor  (7-5)
3) Oregon State  (5-5)
4) SMU (6-5)

TCU Gets the nod over Boise State for the following reasons:
1) Tougher conference
2) Convincing victory @ #5 Utah (granted Utah wasn't #5 worthy but still impressive)
3) Better team and talent levels across the board...TCU players actually get drafted, Boise not usually
4) TCU six "potential" lose-able games (Utah, Oregon State, Baylor, SMU, Air Force, BYU) vs Boise State three lose-able games (Oregon State, VA Tech, Nevada)

I wrote this post because I feel like chaos is going down this weekend when BAMA upsets AUBURN in the Iron Bowl.  Therefore, you have Oregon at #1 and then debate for #2.  I am for a playoff and my top 8 teams for the playoff would be:

1) Oregon
2) Auburn
3) TCU
4) LSU
5) Boise State
6) Stanford
7) Wisconsin
8) Alabama or Ohio State (Bama in if it wins over Auburn, out if they don't..logic: b/c of tougher schedule than Ohio State)

This is the most fair way to do it b/c the non-conference teams would have a chance and although i think they would lose it would be good entertainment.  You keep the same bowls and say the Rose Bowl game would be #1 Oregon vs #8 Alabama....that is like a national title game and that is 1 vs 8..what a game..Sugar Bowl #2 Auburn vs #7 Wisconsin and so on.  It gives every team a chance and teams can have one or even two losses and have a chance at the national title.  All you have to do is be in the top 8 to have a chance for the national title and that is what is should be and no one can blame anyone but themselves if they don't finish in the top 8.

So if/when Auburn loses this week do yourself a favor and pray that it doesn't happen or we are going to have to watch the Oregon Ducks beat Boise State by 17 in the national title game. Yuck.

YOU SHOULD PROBABLY READ THIS!!!

Some fucking faggot had the audacity to say Nate Washington would be a better performer than Mike Wallace today.  Mike Wallace had 17pts, Nate Washington had a season high 5 catches and 2nd best fantasy day of the year, 11 points, so he gave me a run for my money. I had the following arguments:

1) Steelers are now a pass first, run second team (especially w/ben at QB)
2) Hines Ward was concussed last week so his performance would be down ('Hines Ward is hurt' was part of my tweet to this cowaard) that is a quote on quote by me (is that proper punctuation BTW??)....nevertheless Hines ended up with 3 catches for 28 yards
3) Wallace BIG PLAY WR (had a 52 yd TD today)
4) Big BEN vs Vince Young (aka Large BEN b/c he doesn't like the nickname Big BEN) Ben SHITS on Vince Young so as a WR you need a GOOD QB!!!!!!!!! (Vince is NOT!!! A good/adequate QB!!!) to throw you the ball (please note VY got hurt and only completed 3 passes to Nate Washington; i tweeted "see you on sunday when nate washington gets three catches" to this negligent, unknowledegable fuck so its funny that Vince accounted for 3/5 of Nate Washington's receptions
5) Nate Washington top 50 WR vs Mike Wallace top 15 WR....(as a steeler fan or die person I've yet to see Mike Wallace get outthrown on a pass...he can literally fly..gettin a Wallace jersey ASAP)
6) Last but not least Nate Washington would have 1-3 catches today (had 5 catches today ) that's fine he brought his best game of the year and you still had to eat your words you ignorant FUCK...kinda how this year has gone for me I lead the FF league in PA (i.e. not my fault), 2nd in fantasy hockey

His Arguments

1) "Oak has #2 passing D".....who have they played this year tard??? (TN, AZ, STL, HOU, SD, SF, Denver (DEN), SEA, KC....I count ONE/TWO good QBs (Rivers for sure, Schaub maybe??)  can you please note Nnamdi Asomugha (***) didn't even play today you sicken me @phillander nice argument tard.
2) "WSH has #31 pass defense" (heard of Deangelo Hall and Laron Landry??) I don't buy into these stats too much b/c a team could see a weakness in run defense/pass defense and could just choose to run/pass the ball to help the stats.  So a team could be #1 in a category b/c a team is afraid or could exploit their weakness. For example, teams don't run against the Steelers b/c they know they can't so the rich get richer because we know you aren't going to run so we will always be #1 in run defense.  Okay, bad example but I'm saying teams stats are not enough. You need to watch the game and the actual "PLAYS" that happen in the game not some bullshit statistic.
3) "Randy Moss "EFFECT" " (0 catches, 0 yards today) yeah he stretches the field but if you saw my twitter pre-FST blog you'd see a funny comment about the moss trade
4) "Ward IS playing" (never said he wasn't, i'm a steelers fan i said he was hurt so less EFFECTIVE and less balls thrown his way (had 3 catches today, more than the randy moss "effect" apparently...randy had same amount of catches i had today) (trying to show the difference between a randy moss "effect" and being "effective") get IT

....i said he should be PUT DOWN like an animal would be if he started Nate Washington over Mike Wallace and when i educated him with lucid information he said "maybe you should be put down for sucha ignorant comment"....probly not tho

...he also called me a child...child pls you got educated and i was the teacher

..said somin bout d matchups (WSH d better than OAK sorry brah) and also said thanks for playing (that's my line dude)

..also said "my lack of analytical skills and close-mindedness tell me you must be a republican. Go away pest! ( i responded see you on sunday when nate washington gets three catches...i saw him but he snaked another two grabs from kerry collins that i didn't foresee) And yes the only thing you are right on is I have mostly republican views and more importantly b/c I plan on being in the 2% that controls the 98% of the wealth.

..just hit me up on twitter "i knew i'd hear from you. FYI i started wallace (glad you listened i'm trying to educate here) BUT my point was valid considering Wash got same # of yards and more targets"....who is VY (poop) or Kerry Collins (poopier) going to throw to Justin Gage (#2-3 WR at best)??? Nate Washington is an ex-steeler (3rd WR) and not a bad WR i agree with that but don't come at me with that shit...I said exactly what I said would happen MIKE WALLACE BIG PLAY and you got lucky and made the margin smaller than it usually will be...yea you had more targets cuz we were winning 35-3. What are we supposed to do run up the score like Boise State? (historically Boise State does and that is why it is always a good idea to put money on Boise St, well they kinda have to the way the NCAAF is right now. (8 team playoff???)

All I am trying to say is I am not going to bullshit you. I am going to give you the most unbiased and lucid information you are ever going to see. ESPN is clueless ATL Falcons #1 power rankings, #6 on FST...look at them struggle with the RAMS right now.  In a nutshell, and I am only going to say this ONCE, I should've died this summer in a car wreck when i was traveling 100 MPH but for some reason I survived and I like to believe it is because I am going to have an impact on this world b/c why would I survive an accident that everyone else doesn't survive if I am just a "average joe" (especially considering i was traveling 100 MPH, flew 74 feet in the air, and rolled three times)?? It is NOT to update this bullshit blog as well as @gogreenGGI and the Go Green Investments blog (these are just two of my skills, my actual TANGIBLE IDEA and technological advancement hasn't happened yet...but it will) both of which I am better than anyone I have ever seen. I am cocky..yes..sometimes I am. But I know what I am talking about. I want to have a positive impact on this world and it is not trying to educate negligent people who start dumb arguments on this blog or proving people who think they know what is going on in the stock market in my other blog.  I can do things that "normal" people can not. Trust me I have seen it. And I have an eidetic memory (photographic memory [no one in the world has this i have checked..and if i don't have it i am damn close]) and that is why I am able to do some great things with the stock market b/c I know how a stock is going to flow.  For example of my eidetic memory i can memorize any credit card in under 30 seconds and remember it for life (my best was 10 seconds). It has it downfalls too b/c I own a bunch of movies and it is sometimes hard to pick a movie b/c I can usually go scene by scene in my head of what happens in the movie. If you give me any stock in any sector pretty much every time i will tell you if it will go up or down.  I feel I have always been misunderstood and at some point in my life I might have wanted to watch the whole world burn but after all that I have been through I am a firm believer in GOD and things HAVE to HAPPEN for a REASON and I want to be the TALE to show the world that this is true.

-Just to prove it even more....i had to have surgery on my face in my mouth area; they laced my mouth back together when i was awake...kinda like Pans Labyrinth...but my face not cheek (i watched that for the second time ironically two weeks before the accident, watched it a month earlier, and two months prior to my paper on Saddam..you'll see later where this ties in)..When I saw that movie for the second time I was like damn i hope i never have to do that, that looks like it would hurt a lot and two weeks later I had to.  The point is I am UNABLE to grow ANY facial hair IRONICALLY at the FILTRIM (everywhere else it has no problem growing)....the filtrim is the spot where Hitler ONLY had facial hair aka the HITLER MUSTACHE. I had previously written two essays on two dictators Osama Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein (receiving high A's on both) and my last masterpiece would have been on the "best" in terms of what he wanted to accomplish and did accomplish in Adolf Hitler but I am GLAD I will NEVER write that essay because of what happened to me.

I guess I am trying to say I am trying to have a positive impact on this world and I am here for the world and no longer against it and I do this (this dumb blog as well as the Go Green Investments blog) for the world and whether you listen to it or not that is your choice and that is the way it everything should be. YOU do what you want to DO.  I am trying to start Go Green Investments, (GGI when it goes public...yeah there's no stock symbol GGI) because I am better than anyone I have ever seen at picking stocks. The goal of GGI is to generate sizable returns for our clients and to also make the world a cleaner and better place (i.e. GO GREEN). And someday when I am actively making money for clients and showing everyone that Go Green is making the world a better place (cleaner and better) then people will start to listen, but until then I will continue wasting time on these posts.

I also never watch the news and it is only on b/c the Pats/Colts game ended (Pats won, FST had PATS winning the game) and one of the topics was about insider trading.  That is just one of the reasons the company is called Go Green Investments.  If I can show the world and gain their trust by making the world a better place then hopefully they will listen to me when I tell them which stocks to invest in because I have actual skill and don't need insider tips on which stocks will surpass earnings and what not.  All I am trying to say is I don't think I survived that accident for no reason and I plan on making the most of my SECOND CHANCE.. (funny but one of my research cases [I-CORE] the madeup company Indiana University gave us was called "Second Chance", and i just typed second chance in google and one of the suggested searches was "Second Chance Pittsburgh"...i live in pittsburgh and am in pittsburgh right now maybe that is why it was a related search..i'm not sure

Maybe I am a pussy but I did cry a little writing that second to last paragraph but I am just happy to be alive.  You probably didn't expect this coming but no one reads this anyways besides my esteemed colleague EZ E Brek so one day you can receive some education.  Sorry I dug deep here but @phillander was the catalyst for this post b/c he called me names :( and his negligence made me so mad I had to express some of my emotions.  I wanted to blackball him from GGI and my other idea but I got no hate for anyone.  I promise just football from here on out..................well and some BBALL.

Here we go Steelers!!.....and Hoosiers!!

-i've still been watching the news for a while b/c i've been writing this and now i'm hungry but this guy (who was successful) said he didn't believe in GOD and I was on the fence on the subject until my accident.  I feel like I might be able to turn anyone if you would see the "coincidences" of the night of my accident (i did not mention some of the most compelling ones). (Some idiot on the news, "60 minutes", said that Christmas doesn't have to start until after Thanksgiving....dude it does..Thanksgiving is GREAT!!

I love you all. FST is legit shit.
