Introducing you to the "NEW POWER CONFERENCE".."THE BIG 16"...and the new ACC

Big 16 (great for football and bball)

West

Indiana University
Purdue
Notre Dame
Illinois
Iowa
Northwestern
Texas
Nebraska

..can be called Big East or Big West to decipher between the 16 teams or just Big 16 East/West

East

Penn State
Michigan
Michigan State
Wisconsin
Minnesota
Ohio State
Syracuse
Pitt

New ACC  (good at bball and football)

North

Boston College
WVU
Wake Forest
Clemson
Florida State
Rutgers
Virginia
Maryland

South

Miami (FL)
UNC
Duke
VA Tech
Georgia Tech
NC State
South Florida
Louisville

-yes what's left of the big 12 gets pooped on and maybe TCU and Boise State will join forces with the Oklahoma and Okie State, etc of the world and make a new conference..Big 12?

South

Oklahoma
Oklahoma State
Texas A&M
Texas Tech
Baylor
Hawaii

North

Kansas
Kansas State
Boise State
TCU
Iowa State
Missouri

..new 12 good for football and has potential for basketball minus (TCU, Boise, Utah). The Big 12 represents the FOURTH of the BIG 5 CONFERENCE SYSTEM (SEC, Big 16, ACC, Pac 12, Big 12)..could lead to a 10 team playoff (5 conference title winners , 5 at large)...everything is always a top 10 list!! (doesn't 70 top dog NCAA teams sound better than 117, other 47 still eligible for everything but not as much $$$$$$$$$)Set up the same way as the pro system below this post!

Playoffs as of today with my 36 NFL Team 10 team playoff

AFC East
New England    9-2
New York Jets    9-2
New York Giants     7-4
Buffalo Bills       2-9

AFC West
Atlanta Falcons   9-2
Indianapolis Colts    6-5
Tennessee Titans    5-6
Cincinnati Bengals   2-9

AFC South
Tampa Bay Bucs   7-4
Miami Dolphins   6-5
Jacksonville Jaguars   6-5
Carolina Panthers    1-10

AFC North
Baltimore Ravens    8-3
Pittsburgh Steelers   8-3
Philadelphia Eagles   7-4
Washington Redskins  5-6
Cleveland Browns   4-7

Rules 1) Top 4 Seeds Best Record (regardless of division)
2) Division Winners Must be at Worst #8 Seed
Higher seed home field
Top 6 seeds get a bye week
indents equal a change of week

Thus the bracket would look like this..

#9  Miami
#10 Jacksonville       #1 New England vs 9/10            #1 NE                #5 PIT

                                #4 Baltimore Ravens
                                #5 Pittsburgh Steelers               #5PIT

8  Tampa Bay         #2 Atlanta Falcons vs 7/8           #2ATL                 #2 ATL
7 New York Giants

                                #3 New York Jets
                                #6 Philadelphia Eagles              #6 PHI

...looks like it would end up Pittsburgh versus ATL or NE vs ATL.  A couple of interesting matchups including BAL vs PIT, NE vs PIT, ATL vs PHI (Vick playing @ ATL),  battle of PHI and NYJ (New York/PHI too big markets), FLA battle (Mia vs Jac....does anyone care tho? Not sure.), and maybe ending where we started with a rematch of week one but with PIT @ ATL this time. Please also note this is "geographically savvy" never going past the state of Indiana...the true 'East Coast' and AFC Conference!! And the #1 seed in NE would get their "second bye week" by playing MIA or JAC so they are still happy and in this case it also provides more competition for the bottom half of the bracket (because this would be a strong playoff and the deserving champion of the AFC).

-if you didn't notice the HORSE (Colts) would not be in this playoff..never go west of Pennsylvania!..wow!

Week 13 Power Rankings

1) Patriots
2) Saints
3) Steelers
4) Ravens
5) Jets
6) Falcons
7) Bears
8) Eagles
9) Chargers
10) Packers
11) Colts
12) Giants

SHAVON

Hey guys I wanna introduce you to Shavon.  ...serious spread shifting made us change to the final ticket that will be submitted tomorrow..      10 tm, 6.5 pt teaser, 20:1

In Order of Lock (#1 biggest lock, #10 not a lock)

1) Bears (+1.5)
2) Seahawks (+.5)
3) Packers (-3)
4) Steelers (+9.5)
5) Chiefs (-2.5)
6) Cowboys (+12)
7) Jets (+10.5)
8) Raiders (+19.5)
9) Giants (-.5)
10) Saints (-.5)

SHaVon GOT the goods...20:1 ODDs

...i also took 2:1 on this bet with two of my buddies. GREED. LOL
.....stayed away from games i wanted to but to pick all the games I'd have (Dolphins (+2), Vikings (+1), Falcons (+3.5), Rams (+3.5))...teased 6.5pts

My Opinion on the NFC West

Here are the teams...

Seattle Seahawks  8-8
St. Louis Rams   7-9
San Francisco 49ers  6-10
Arizona Cardinals  5-11

This is the order they are going to finish.  It is not set in stone but i see Seattle going 8-8.  San Francisco was the favorite in my opinion (defense + good running game) before Frank Gore went down.  That injury takes them out of the race and Arizona is downright terrible.  Just heard Derek Anderson's rant and that guy should be out of the league ASAP.  He had never been good in the first place.  Funny but I remember my opinion on Derek Anderson was "at least he is tall"..That might help him sling the rock out there; but this "dufus" has no talent at all.  I can't even believe I thought he had any sort of talent.  As a youth, I remember watching him on the Cleveland Browns playing against the 'LERS and it drove me crazy when he would complete passes on our defense.  Which is the truth. Our passing defense has always been swiss cheese and why I want us to trade up to get Patrick Peterson CB LSU..but the point is Arizona is out "citing derek anderson"..SF is out "frank gore injured"..STL is out "Sam..rookie QB..won't go 8-8 with that team" leaving Matt Hasselbeck versus either GreenBay/Chicago or ATL/NO in a home playoff game in January. Good Lord..maybe why you need 36 NFL I proposed..10 playoff teams. Look at it this way if you're talking shit to your home boys when you say "you're running the AFC South" you really are.  ATL would be leading the AFC South (TB, CAR, ATL, MIA)!!

-Derek Anderson rant...          http://www.current-movie-reviews.com/sports/2010/11/30/video-derek-anderson-rants-at-reporter-after-laughing-at-loss/       @jimrome is killing it

-i would advise a certain friend of mine who has STL (to win the division) 9:1 on a $100 to bet $500 against the rams week 17 to guarantee victory in that bet...would've made you $225 last week dummy...shib.

Thoughts on adding a 3 minute warning to the game?

I think it is a good idea and another element that coaches would have to plan/account for.  This would only be at the end of the game (not in first half). You would have to plan your timeouts more carefully this way. I like the idea.

49ers a lock tonight! (-1)

A little tidbit on Colt Mccoy

"Colt McCoy is the real deal. He's also a perfect as example of why the NFL Draft is the ultimate crapshoot. No one liked McCoy - not Kiper, not McShay, not Mayock, not any draftnik surfing the Web. Not even Mike Holmgren was too high on him; he passed on him twice in Rounds 2-3, and finally picked him when he realized that Jake Delhomme and Seneca Wallace were his only quarterbacks."    -Walter Football

FST Response: I'm pretty sure Kamykowski and I were two people that liked Colt Mccoy. Most accurate QB..He was 1B to Sam Bradford's 1A of the 2010 QB class.

South Eastern Conference and Everyone's Fav Boise State!!!

The thing I love about the NCAA and what makes it great is look at the SEC. I tweeted last week the SEC west had 5/6 teams in the top 25. So, essentially, the way the system is right now a team like LSU has to beat FIVE top 25 teams and after they beat them they have non-conference games (WVU, UNC both top 25 teams when they played), so, that is SEVEN top 25 teams (plus games vs Tennessee, Vandy, Ole Miss) thus 10 tough games.  That is a heinous schedule and if they lose today to Arkansas they will drop from #5 to say #11 and be out of a major bowl.  It is not fair by any stretch of the imagination to have a team go through hell and back and slip up once and have no chance.  The beauty about the whole thing is I said "last week the SEC west had 5/6 teams in the top 25". So, these teams had already played each other gave each other losses and there were still FIVE teams in the top 25!!! Boise plays yesterday against a team no better than Tennessee and they lost.  So, Boise State faces a schedule 1/7 the difficulty and slips up against NEVADA!! Are you saying that they would be say 7-5 in the SEC??? Maybe. Is a 7-5 team worthy of a National Championship, BCS Bowl, Conference Chamiponship? The answer is NO! That is why you need to stop listening to this Boise Shit and have a playoff where you give the TCU's and Boise State's a chance so they don't mess up the whole system.  What do I mean?

I'm saying this is a numbers game and with an eight team playoff you give the 8 best teams a chance so teams can lose, go undefeated, overcome adversity, and you can give bullshit "non for real teams like Boise State a chance to gobble up one of the eight spots".  Now, usually justice will be served and the Boise States will lose regardless so their chance for the national championship is irrelevant but with this system you can act like you care about them and if they go undefeated you can't deny them a chance for the national title.

FST Rankings

1) Oregon
2) Auburn
3) TCU
4) Stanford
5) Wisconsin
6) Ohio State
7) Arkansas
8) LSU

*Please note that a loss is a minimum drop of 3 places in the top 25 rankings. That is put it just in case some #1 team loses the last week of the year because they would still deserve a chance to play for the national title.

9) Oklahoma
10) Boise State
11)Michigan State

As you can see here, I will preach this propoganda as much and as long as I have to until the NCAA wakes up and has a structure for ranking the best teams and has an eight team playoff to determine a champion.  Teams know they must place in the top 8 in the beginning of the year so they would have no one to blame but themselves for not making the cut.  There would be quite a debate for the last two spots in this years rankings. But 8 is great!!   These matchups are better than the previous post...hmm maybe because a certain team was removed from the rankings.  Still love Alabama can't believe they blew that lead yesterday.  Cam Newton put that team on his back and led them to victory.  It is a travesty if he doesn't win the Heisman.  Then again, it was also a travesty when Jason White stole the Heisman from Larry Fitzgerald.

More lucid knowledge like this could get on you on THE FORUM

A great football team does not blow a huge lead to the Nevada Wolfpack. You wouldn't see Nevada within 30 of a team like Auburn or Oregon.  -@jmsachez

Taking a look at MY NFL!! 36 TEAMS!!!!

36 Teams (Four new expansion teams: Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Honolulu, (East Coast Team, England? Canada?))...some type of global expansion
18 Regular Season Games
2 Bye Weeks
10 Playoff Teams/Conference
AFC (East Coast)/NFC (West Coast) (i.e. team relocation to correct conference, San Diego now NFC, etc)
Season Length: Aug 26-Jan 9
Bye Weeks: Week 4-16 (some teams get Thanksgiving byes to be with family, rotate every year)
4 teams get off Christmas week, rotate every year  (teams play pre-xmas whether that is M, T, W, R, F, S)
Addition of game on Christmas
Rivalries remain intact....rivalry week teams must play rival (Xmas time every year) CLE vs PIT, CHI vs GB, SF vs DAL, PHI vs NYG...
5 team divisions will play each year to match up (AFC East #1 vs AFC North #1...etc)
Bottom five teams gets easiest schedule the next year

Playoff
9 vs 10 on Thursday following end of regular season
Top 4 seeds are top 4 records regardless of division (home games)
Division winners automatic bids
Four wildcards or more

Taking a look at the AFC

AFC South

Tampa Bay Bucs
Carolina Panthers
Miami Dolphins
Jacksonville Jaguars

AFC East

New York Giants
New York Jets
New England Patriots
Buffalo Bills
(Canada or England...unless BUF moves to Canada)

AFC West

Indianapolis Colts
Atlanta Falcons
Tennessee Titans
Cincinnati Bengals

AFC North

Pittsburgh Steelers
Philadelphia Eagles
Washington Redskins
Baltimore Ravens
Cleveland Browns

Taking a look at the NFC!!

NFC South (the nice weather division)

Los Angeles
Las Vegas
Arizona Cardinals
San Diego Chargers

NFC East (dome/kc conference)

Dallas Cowboys
Houston Texans
St. Louis Rams
Kansas City Chiefs
New Orleans Saints

NFC West (we suck conference)

Seattle Seahawks
Denver Broncos
Oakland Raiders
San Francisco 49ers
Honolulu

NFC North  (the classic conference)

Minnesota Vikings
Chicago Bears
Detroit Lions
Green Bay Packers

-that is the way the divisions should be broken down b/c it is GEOGRAPHICALLY SAVVY.
-the way these conferences are as of today we are relying on the big city teams in the NFC (LA, CHI, DAL, HOU, SD, NO) to pull their weight b/c with the addition of 3 expansion teams in one conference that conference will suffer (i.e. be weaker) for at least a few years

-please note this is subject to change b/c I don't know if JAX and/or BUF will be relocating

To the foolish people thinking the NFC will win the Super Bowl?

At the time I put up the poll, vegas had the odds of any AFC team beating any NFC team as -150 or favored to win the super bowl so remember that if/when you vote on who will win the super bowl. Current line is AFC (-3)....not bad aye

ESPN did something RIGHT!!!

ESPN released its power rankings and they must've checked out this site b/c they have the same top 12 teams I do for their power rankings but their order is a little messed up...ATL still at the #1 spot I like them but I have them @ 8 OVERRATED...come on mannnn they are not the best, the Steelers beat them with Dixon @ QB..the NFC has to be better than that. Right? They are..the Saints are the best team in the NFC. [Jets OVERRATED as well]

ESPN Power Rankings

1) Falcons
2) Patriots
3) Ravens
4) Jets
5) Steelers
6) Eagles
7) Packers
8) Saints
9) Colts
10) Giants
11) Bucs
12) Bears

FST Power Rankings for Comparison

1) Saints
2) Patriots
3) Steelers
4) Ravens
5) Eagles
6) Jets
7) Packers
8) Falcons
9) Colts
10) Bears
11) Bucs
12) Giants

..i think it is safe to say the super bowl will be won by one of the top 9 teams in the power rankings

8 Team NCAAF Playoff

Hey this is just reason #111 on why the NCAAF should have a playoff:

FST RANKINGS
1) Oregon
2) Auburn
3) TCU
4) LSU
5) Boise St.
6) Stanford
7) Wisconsin
8) Alabama (pending victory over Auburn, Ohio State slides in if they lose)

Reason #111 for playoff: Look at the level of talent and please tell me that this way wouldn't be more profitable $$$ (NCAAF #1 concern...$$$) for the bowls and the NCAAF than the current system.  You have the next John Elway type of QB in Andrew Luck, "potential shut down corner" in Patrick Peterson, Cam Newton and that explosive offense, last year's NCAAF champion Alabama, everyone's favorite "cinderella teams" in Boise State and TCU, Oregon and their 60pt offense every game, and the Wisconsin Badgers a hard nosed big ten team that put up 83 on the Indiana Hoosiers (against the Hoosiers, but still impressive).

Obviously the rankings would change if Alabama would win this Saturday and FST would rank it like this:

1) Oregon
2) TCU
3) Auburn
4) LSU
5) Boise State
6) Stanford
7) Wisconsin
8) Alabama

FST Made up bowl games: For Example these games would be held on Jan 1st (hey actually good Jan 1 bowl games...I'm hungover give me FOOTBALL!!!)

Sugar Bowl: Oregon vs Alabama (maybe this year's champ vs last years champ).
Fiesta Bowl: TCU vs Wisconsin
Orange Bowl: Auburn vs Stanford (2nd best 1st rd game: best college QB vs best pro style QB, AKA the QB Bowl)
Rose Bowl: LSU vs Boise St. (LSU shaky but lets see that great defense and PP vs lets see how "for real" Boise St is vs a SEC team)

Then the second round would be the next Saturday Jan 8
FST Bowl: Oregon vs LSU
Google Bowl: Auburn vs TCU

National Title January 15th...
National Title (rotates every 7 years): Oregon vs Auburn (I am rooting so hard for Auburn this week [even tho I think BAMA will win] b/c I don't want to see Boise or TCU vs Oregon)

I just threw out three random bowl games at the end but you would need three more bowl games added to the four we already have and I'm sure companies would have no problem sponsoring a game like Oregon vs LSU or Auburn vs TCU or even the game everyone wants to see Oregon vs Auburn.  I just can't think of a reason why you wouldn't want to have a playoff:

1) It gives every team in every "contending conference" a chance for the national title.

2) It gives teams an opportunity to overcome losses and adversity during the season.

3) The NFL is trying to add two more games to the regular season so why can't the NCAAF?!?!? I have been against the NFL adding two more games for statistical purposes and records but I feel the only way the NCAAF is going to change to a playoff is if the NFL adds two more games because then the NCAAF can't argue that the players need more rest, etc because the NFL will be playing 18 regular season games vs 13 games.  Rookies need a smooth transition you can't just make them play 5 more games against "the NFL elite" and expect them to be successful and not get worn or burned out before the year is over.  Just like most things in life you have to give up a little (NFL adding two more games) to get what you want (PLAYOFF).

4) MORE MONEY

5) At the end of this playoff, you can't argue that the winner didn't deserve it because they will have to play at least two difficult games to win it all (cough cough TCU and Boise State this would be your first tough game of the year).

6) You give teams the opportunity to go 15-0 and you could start to establish "best ever" teams and establish "rank" in NCAAF history because they deserve it if they win it all.  Plus hell NCAAF step your game up, the NCAAB has 65 team tourney and so much drama in that tournament. It is hard to one-up them but hey let's get some drama of our own. With the current system, is Boise State or TCU really deserving of putting their name in history if Oregon, Auburn, or both lose this week and they both or one of them get a shot for the national title???  I love football and the NFL draft is my 5th favorite day of the year and I am telling you I would not watch TCU vs Boise State to determine the National Champion.

7) You give these young men a chance to live their dream...win the national title. It is not going to be fair to Cam Newton and Auburn to go the entire year undefeated and to get tripped up in a slugfest vs a hell of a ball team, a RIVAL, in THEIR HOUSE, (ya Alabama's house) for the LAST GAME OF THE YEAR and fall one game short (still have to play SEC champ but still some teams don't have Conference titles).  That is the most anti-climatic finish to the college football year.  With the current system, we would then have the pleasure of watching Oregon kill Boise State or TCU.

....the way I set it up here the NCAAF season would be elongated by 5 days and has jam packed action the 1st half of the month of January.  So, two teams would play one more game than everyone else, and the teams in the national championship would play two more games.....big deal?? I think not.

With a playoff, you also create drama which apparently "sells" in 2010. You have three SEC teams, (LSU beat Bama, Bama beats Auburn?). A possible re-match of Auburn vs Alabama in the national title game.  Could you imagine that? Alabama beats Auburn this week and squeaks into the top 8 so they are eligible for the playoff.  Then with Alabama and Auburn on separate sides of the bracket they could potentially play each other in the national title game.  However, Alabama you have to earn it to get to the national championship.  They would have to play the #1 team in the country (Oregon) and then LSU (whom they already lost to) to get there.  A playoff just creates so many stories and different scenarios that would generate more exposure to these athletes, as well as more money and more hype to the school in the playoff and would also make recruiting more easier....("hey we have been in the playoff for 8 consecutive years").  You would also give athletes like Andrew Luck and Patrick Peterson more "PRIMETIME ACTION" and exposure and help them raise their draft stock and show the NFL what they got..possibly making the NFL draft a more exact science b/c you see these players against "elite" competition, not Boise St vs Wyoming and say wow that Kellen Moore should win the Heisman. Shut up with that shit!!

My most convincing argument is look at what they got right now. According to CBS Sportsline, these are the projected bowl matchups. I count one enticing game and that is Auburn vs Ohio State.

National Title: Oregon vs Boise State....Oregon by 17
Sugar Bowl: Auburn vs Ohio State
Orange Bowl: TCU vs Virginia Tech...YUCK
Fiesta Bowl: Oklahoma State vs Pitt....YIKES
Rose Bowl: Wisconsin vs Stanford....where is that green YUCK sticker we got in 1st grade b/c we need it now.

It is nice to see Alabama getting rewarded though for going through a tough SEC schedule (10-2) and beat the #2 team in the country in the last week for nothing. What is your argument? They had two losses? They played in my eyes 7 "lose-able" games. Boise State played 3 (I counted Nevada, VA Tech, and Oregon St as their lose-able games vs Alabama who played 7 tough SEC teams and had to be prepared week in and out). Way to go NCAA!!

2) New England Patriots
3) Pittsburgh Steelers
4) Baltimore Ravens

9) Indianapolis Colts
10) Chicago Bears
11) Tampa Bay Bucs

Asante Samuel working on his 1's and 2's

Look at the stat line on Asante Samuel.  One fumble, one recovered fumble, one lost fumble (that has to happen a certain way and you never see this)...and he had two INT's, two tackles, and two passes defended. I'm pretty sure Samuel has the most INT's out of any CB the past five years

Jesse Palmer Interesting Football Views, PLUS FST view on TCU vs BSU, Playoffs?!?!

His younger brother actually goes to school with me and lived on my dorm floor freshman year.  With all due respect to Jesse, I don't agree with his views very often.  He just said he thinks #19 Nevada is a "for real" team.  I don't want to express too much hate and have to rant but that is just a clueless statement so i will leave it at that.  If Nevada played any team ranked ahead of them (except maybe Texas A&M who stinks but always win at home so they squeak their way in the top 25).  I feel at least half of the Big Ten, ACC, SEC, and Pac 10 teams would have no problem DESTROYING Nevada so their top 25 ranking does not have any merit in my book.

He also said he also thought Utah would hang with TCU (they got blown out 47-7) and to me for non-conference teams I rank the teams like this:

1) TCU
2) Boise State
3) UTAH

I feel TCU is a better team than Boise State but I feel like I am in the minority on this view.  For some reason, everyone loves Boise State and it just confuses me.  I am apparently the only person who knows what Boise State is doing. Their conference, the WAC, is a complete joke so they automatically win 8 games a year b/c the next best team in their conference is NEVADA and to me they are a joke.  So, the unknowledgeable public is going to go crazy when Boise State goes into Nevada and wins by 14+ points this week.  So, they only need four more wins to "trick" the public in thinking they are something they are not.  So, they schedule non-conference games against WYOMING (worst team in MWC) and Toledo (MAC).  They are now at 10-0 before the season even starts.  They complete the schedule by playing Oregon State (i think Baylor vs Oregon St. is a good game) and the most overrated pre-season team year after year in VA Tech.  So, essentially their year came down to the first week of the year and when they won that they were essentially in the national title game.  To me, it is not fair all of these SEC teams face tough matchups week after week because of their conference and Boise State doesn't even think about losing those games b/c it isn't even possible.  A football season is long and the mental and physical preparation
week after week is draining and that is what the major conferences must do every week and Boise State plays high school teams every week.

So, you are probably asking yourself well isn't TCU in a cupcake conference as well? And the answer is yes but the MWC is much stronger than the WAC.  TCU actually faces anywhere from two to three tough conference games a year (Utah, BYU, and Air Force [Air Force is good and if you don't think so you are dumb...gave #7 Oklahoma run for their money and lost by 3 @Oklahoma) and Boise State doesn't face anyone.  The media will try to say the win against Nevada is a good win but it is not to a realist. The non-conference schedule is similar in difficulty in my eyes with TN Tech>Wyoming, VT>Baylor, and SMU>Toledo..Baylor and SMU are actually not bad teams and when you add that to the conference games you have 6 potential lose-able games for TCU vs only 3 lose-able games for Boise State.

Boise St Non-Conference
1) Wyoming (3-9)
2) VA Tech (9-2)
3) Oregon State (5-5)
4) Toledo (7-4)

TCU Non-Conference
1) Tennessee Tech  (5-6)
2) Baylor  (7-5)
3) Oregon State  (5-5)
4) SMU (6-5)

TCU Gets the nod over Boise State for the following reasons:
1) Tougher conference
2) Convincing victory @ #5 Utah (granted Utah wasn't #5 worthy but still impressive)
3) Better team and talent levels across the board...TCU players actually get drafted, Boise not usually
4) TCU six "potential" lose-able games (Utah, Oregon State, Baylor, SMU, Air Force, BYU) vs Boise State three lose-able games (Oregon State, VA Tech, Nevada)

I wrote this post because I feel like chaos is going down this weekend when BAMA upsets AUBURN in the Iron Bowl.  Therefore, you have Oregon at #1 and then debate for #2.  I am for a playoff and my top 8 teams for the playoff would be:

1) Oregon
2) Auburn
3) TCU
4) LSU
5) Boise State
6) Stanford
7) Wisconsin
8) Alabama or Ohio State (Bama in if it wins over Auburn, out if they don't..logic: b/c of tougher schedule than Ohio State)

This is the most fair way to do it b/c the non-conference teams would have a chance and although i think they would lose it would be good entertainment.  You keep the same bowls and say the Rose Bowl game would be #1 Oregon vs #8 Alabama....that is like a national title game and that is 1 vs 8..what a game..Sugar Bowl #2 Auburn vs #7 Wisconsin and so on.  It gives every team a chance and teams can have one or even two losses and have a chance at the national title.  All you have to do is be in the top 8 to have a chance for the national title and that is what is should be and no one can blame anyone but themselves if they don't finish in the top 8.

So if/when Auburn loses this week do yourself a favor and pray that it doesn't happen or we are going to have to watch the Oregon Ducks beat Boise State by 17 in the national title game. Yuck.

YOU SHOULD PROBABLY READ THIS!!!

Some fucking faggot had the audacity to say Nate Washington would be a better performer than Mike Wallace today.  Mike Wallace had 17pts, Nate Washington had a season high 5 catches and 2nd best fantasy day of the year, 11 points, so he gave me a run for my money. I had the following arguments:

1) Steelers are now a pass first, run second team (especially w/ben at QB)
2) Hines Ward was concussed last week so his performance would be down ('Hines Ward is hurt' was part of my tweet to this cowaard) that is a quote on quote by me (is that proper punctuation BTW??)....nevertheless Hines ended up with 3 catches for 28 yards
3) Wallace BIG PLAY WR (had a 52 yd TD today)
4) Big BEN vs Vince Young (aka Large BEN b/c he doesn't like the nickname Big BEN) Ben SHITS on Vince Young so as a WR you need a GOOD QB!!!!!!!!! (Vince is NOT!!! A good/adequate QB!!!) to throw you the ball (please note VY got hurt and only completed 3 passes to Nate Washington; i tweeted "see you on sunday when nate washington gets three catches" to this negligent, unknowledegable fuck so its funny that Vince accounted for 3/5 of Nate Washington's receptions
5) Nate Washington top 50 WR vs Mike Wallace top 15 WR....(as a steeler fan or die person I've yet to see Mike Wallace get outthrown on a pass...he can literally fly..gettin a Wallace jersey ASAP)
6) Last but not least Nate Washington would have 1-3 catches today (had 5 catches today ) that's fine he brought his best game of the year and you still had to eat your words you ignorant FUCK...kinda how this year has gone for me I lead the FF league in PA (i.e. not my fault), 2nd in fantasy hockey

His Arguments

1) "Oak has #2 passing D".....who have they played this year tard??? (TN, AZ, STL, HOU, SD, SF, Denver (DEN), SEA, KC....I count ONE/TWO good QBs (Rivers for sure, Schaub maybe??)  can you please note Nnamdi Asomugha (***) didn't even play today you sicken me @phillander nice argument tard.
2) "WSH has #31 pass defense" (heard of Deangelo Hall and Laron Landry??) I don't buy into these stats too much b/c a team could see a weakness in run defense/pass defense and could just choose to run/pass the ball to help the stats.  So a team could be #1 in a category b/c a team is afraid or could exploit their weakness. For example, teams don't run against the Steelers b/c they know they can't so the rich get richer because we know you aren't going to run so we will always be #1 in run defense.  Okay, bad example but I'm saying teams stats are not enough. You need to watch the game and the actual "PLAYS" that happen in the game not some bullshit statistic.
3) "Randy Moss "EFFECT" " (0 catches, 0 yards today) yeah he stretches the field but if you saw my twitter pre-FST blog you'd see a funny comment about the moss trade
4) "Ward IS playing" (never said he wasn't, i'm a steelers fan i said he was hurt so less EFFECTIVE and less balls thrown his way (had 3 catches today, more than the randy moss "effect" apparently...randy had same amount of catches i had today) (trying to show the difference between a randy moss "effect" and being "effective") get IT

....i said he should be PUT DOWN like an animal would be if he started Nate Washington over Mike Wallace and when i educated him with lucid information he said "maybe you should be put down for sucha ignorant comment"....probly not tho

...he also called me a child...child pls you got educated and i was the teacher

..said somin bout d matchups (WSH d better than OAK sorry brah) and also said thanks for playing (that's my line dude)

..also said "my lack of analytical skills and close-mindedness tell me you must be a republican. Go away pest! ( i responded see you on sunday when nate washington gets three catches...i saw him but he snaked another two grabs from kerry collins that i didn't foresee) And yes the only thing you are right on is I have mostly republican views and more importantly b/c I plan on being in the 2% that controls the 98% of the wealth.

..just hit me up on twitter "i knew i'd hear from you. FYI i started wallace (glad you listened i'm trying to educate here) BUT my point was valid considering Wash got same # of yards and more targets"....who is VY (poop) or Kerry Collins (poopier) going to throw to Justin Gage (#2-3 WR at best)??? Nate Washington is an ex-steeler (3rd WR) and not a bad WR i agree with that but don't come at me with that shit...I said exactly what I said would happen MIKE WALLACE BIG PLAY and you got lucky and made the margin smaller than it usually will be...yea you had more targets cuz we were winning 35-3. What are we supposed to do run up the score like Boise State? (historically Boise State does and that is why it is always a good idea to put money on Boise St, well they kinda have to the way the NCAAF is right now. (8 team playoff???)

All I am trying to say is I am not going to bullshit you. I am going to give you the most unbiased and lucid information you are ever going to see. ESPN is clueless ATL Falcons #1 power rankings, #6 on FST...look at them struggle with the RAMS right now.  In a nutshell, and I am only going to say this ONCE, I should've died this summer in a car wreck when i was traveling 100 MPH but for some reason I survived and I like to believe it is because I am going to have an impact on this world b/c why would I survive an accident that everyone else doesn't survive if I am just a "average joe" (especially considering i was traveling 100 MPH, flew 74 feet in the air, and rolled three times)?? It is NOT to update this bullshit blog as well as @gogreenGGI and the Go Green Investments blog (these are just two of my skills, my actual TANGIBLE IDEA and technological advancement hasn't happened yet...but it will) both of which I am better than anyone I have ever seen. I am cocky..yes..sometimes I am. But I know what I am talking about. I want to have a positive impact on this world and it is not trying to educate negligent people who start dumb arguments on this blog or proving people who think they know what is going on in the stock market in my other blog.  I can do things that "normal" people can not. Trust me I have seen it. And I have an eidetic memory (photographic memory [no one in the world has this i have checked..and if i don't have it i am damn close]) and that is why I am able to do some great things with the stock market b/c I know how a stock is going to flow.  For example of my eidetic memory i can memorize any credit card in under 30 seconds and remember it for life (my best was 10 seconds). It has it downfalls too b/c I own a bunch of movies and it is sometimes hard to pick a movie b/c I can usually go scene by scene in my head of what happens in the movie. If you give me any stock in any sector pretty much every time i will tell you if it will go up or down.  I feel I have always been misunderstood and at some point in my life I might have wanted to watch the whole world burn but after all that I have been through I am a firm believer in GOD and things HAVE to HAPPEN for a REASON and I want to be the TALE to show the world that this is true.

-Just to prove it even more....i had to have surgery on my face in my mouth area; they laced my mouth back together when i was awake...kinda like Pans Labyrinth...but my face not cheek (i watched that for the second time ironically two weeks before the accident, watched it a month earlier, and two months prior to my paper on Saddam..you'll see later where this ties in)..When I saw that movie for the second time I was like damn i hope i never have to do that, that looks like it would hurt a lot and two weeks later I had to.  The point is I am UNABLE to grow ANY facial hair IRONICALLY at the FILTRIM (everywhere else it has no problem growing)....the filtrim is the spot where Hitler ONLY had facial hair aka the HITLER MUSTACHE. I had previously written two essays on two dictators Osama Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein (receiving high A's on both) and my last masterpiece would have been on the "best" in terms of what he wanted to accomplish and did accomplish in Adolf Hitler but I am GLAD I will NEVER write that essay because of what happened to me.

I guess I am trying to say I am trying to have a positive impact on this world and I am here for the world and no longer against it and I do this (this dumb blog as well as the Go Green Investments blog) for the world and whether you listen to it or not that is your choice and that is the way it everything should be. YOU do what you want to DO.  I am trying to start Go Green Investments, (GGI when it goes public...yeah there's no stock symbol GGI) because I am better than anyone I have ever seen at picking stocks. The goal of GGI is to generate sizable returns for our clients and to also make the world a cleaner and better place (i.e. GO GREEN). And someday when I am actively making money for clients and showing everyone that Go Green is making the world a better place (cleaner and better) then people will start to listen, but until then I will continue wasting time on these posts.

I also never watch the news and it is only on b/c the Pats/Colts game ended (Pats won, FST had PATS winning the game) and one of the topics was about insider trading.  That is just one of the reasons the company is called Go Green Investments.  If I can show the world and gain their trust by making the world a better place then hopefully they will listen to me when I tell them which stocks to invest in because I have actual skill and don't need insider tips on which stocks will surpass earnings and what not.  All I am trying to say is I don't think I survived that accident for no reason and I plan on making the most of my SECOND CHANCE.. (funny but one of my research cases [I-CORE] the madeup company Indiana University gave us was called "Second Chance", and i just typed second chance in google and one of the suggested searches was "Second Chance Pittsburgh"...i live in pittsburgh and am in pittsburgh right now maybe that is why it was a related search..i'm not sure

Maybe I am a pussy but I did cry a little writing that second to last paragraph but I am just happy to be alive.  You probably didn't expect this coming but no one reads this anyways besides my esteemed colleague EZ E Brek so one day you can receive some education.  Sorry I dug deep here but @phillander was the catalyst for this post b/c he called me names :( and his negligence made me so mad I had to express some of my emotions.  I wanted to blackball him from GGI and my other idea but I got no hate for anyone.  I promise just football from here on out..................well and some BBALL.

Here we go Steelers!!.....and Hoosiers!!

-i've still been watching the news for a while b/c i've been writing this and now i'm hungry but this guy (who was successful) said he didn't believe in GOD and I was on the fence on the subject until my accident.  I feel like I might be able to turn anyone if you would see the "coincidences" of the night of my accident (i did not mention some of the most compelling ones). (Some idiot on the news, "60 minutes", said that Christmas doesn't have to start until after Thanksgiving....dude it does..Thanksgiving is GREAT!!

I love you all. FST is legit shit.

Week 11 Results: Am I really going to go 7-1 on both Deborah and Beverly??

Fucking Bungles....there is a reason tho they are referred to as the bungles. Blowing that 31-14 lead..apparently captain hindsight says the Bills got a bunch of momentum after holding the Bengals to a 19yd FG (2yd line) before halftime...bullshittttt they were up 31-14!!! How do you blow that???

-7-1 on three parlays the past two weeks....are you fucking kidding me?!?!

Why Bill Polian is NOT a good GM Coming Tomorrow!!

LINEBACKER U (Penn State Linebackers)

Perhaps I have been living under a rock but I had no idea who this guy (Cameron Wake) was until I watched the game on Thursday.  I remember on back-to-back plays him sacking Cutler then on the next play blowing up the RT James Harrison style where he simply bull rushes the OL and knocks him to the ground.  Keep in mind I also remember the RT for the Bears getting torched in previous games but I am keeping my eye on Cameron Wake and his potential to become a *** in this league.  He is from linebacker U aka Penn State so he would just be one blurb in the long history of great LB's from that school.  I also love Sean Lee ILB (also linebacker U) drafted by the Cowboys in the 2nd rd last year. I hope he continues to see minimal playing time and they deem him a bust b/c he is a highly intelligent, instinctive LB that also rates highly on the FST scale of assessment

Could change in the future but as of now:

Cameron Wake **.5 (4.55 40 in 2005...9.5 sacks in 2010)
Sean Lee **.25    (4.6 40...non-starter: rookie)

Updated Power Rankings following Bears dominating victory

1) New Orleans Saints
2) New England Patriots
3) Pittsburgh Steelers
4) New York Jets
5) Atlanta Falcons
6) Baltimore Ravens
7) Indianapolis Colts
8) Green Bay Packers
9) Philadelphia Eagles
10) New York Giants
11) Chicago Bears
12) Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Bears showed me something from Thursday's game.  Played excellent defense (shutout) and Jay Cutler  managed the game very well.  The Bears are at their best when Cutler doesn't have to force throws downfield and has that short to intermediate passing game.  This is most effective when they are able to establish the run with Forte and run play action off of that.  Jay Cutler is actually quite mobile and is at his best on bootlegs and plays where he is able to use his feet to make plays (at denver he did this extremely well).  THE Bears also always have great special teams and if I rated their team it would be Defense, Special Teams, Offense in order of best to worst of the three phases of football.  They need improvement along the OL and a "Big Name" WR. (Julio Jones WR or Jon Baldwin would be perfect fits in CHI in RD 1 and then address the OL the next two rounds).

NCAA College Basketball: Top 5 Incoming Freshman

I am the newest blogger here, Eazy E—not the rapper, but the sports aficionado.  I want to take time here to look at a few incoming freshman that are going to make a big impact in college basketball next year.  While the main emphasis of this blog is football, basketball will be something that will be the emphasis of my blogs.  Anyways, here is a list of the top 5 impact freshman coming into the college scene next year…

“It’s not like they’re The University of Jesus Christ and we’re playing the twelve disciples, It’s just Duke. Duke is just a name on a jersey.”

1.     Austin Rivers—6’3 Shooting Guard, Winter Park, FL--DUKE
Yes, this is Jeremiah’s brother—the Hoosier who is unable to shoot the basketball and is more turnover prone than any walk-on in America.  However, Austin will have an unquestioned impact at Duke even though nobody likes Duke and Coach K.  I hate to rate him number 1, but his skills are unmatched and he is NBA bound.  Although his skills are where they need to be, here at FST we rate him a **.75 out of 3 on our scale of skill assessment.

2.     Cody Zeller—6’11 Power Forward, Washington, IN—INDIANA
Cody will have an immediate impact for the Hoosiers who have been lacking a skilled big man down low.  He has the uncanny ability to shoot the ball and is strong on the offensive end.  Although he lacks some strength, he will be an immediate impact freshman in the country’s strongest conference, the Big Ten (12?).  FST ranking **.5, his ranking is lower than usual, but his skills are where they need to be and he will be a solid 4 year player for Tommy Crean and the Hoosiers.

3.     Anthony Davis, 6’10 Power Forward, Chicago, IL—KENTUCKY
As much as I hate Kentucky, Anthony Davis is prime to have an immediate impact in the SEC.  The Cats will lose Enes Kanter (who couldn’t play because both he and Calipari are liars) and will need an immediate impact with his presence on the boards and in the post.  His skills, coupled with incoming Freshman Marquis Teague (Jeff Teague’s highly overrated brother) will allow for him to become a presence in the paint and dominate the weak nature of the SEC. FST ranking ***

4.     Mike Gilchrist 6’6 Wing, Elizabeth, NJ—KENTUCKY
Yet another impact freshman for that scum Calipari.  Gilchrist is a slasher and will get make an immediate impact with the post presence of Davis.  While he has been dropping in the rankings, I see him coming out with a vengeance next year and having a similar impact as Harrison Barnes this year (even though Barnes sucked it up against Minny, he’s still a stud) .  FST ranking ***

5.     Adonis Thomas, Wing, Memphis, TN—MEMPHIS
He should make an immediate impact in the NCAA.  He is set to play for Memphis who plays an easy conference schedule and will be paired with FST *** star rated Joe Jackson PG at Memphis (pending he doesn’t leave).  This wing will provide another slasher in the NCAA ranks that can get to the basket easily and has a solid mid-range game, look for him to have an immediate impact on the weak nature of conference USA.

Other Notable incoming freshman, B.J. Young—Arkansas, Quinn Cook—Duke, Brandon Dawson—MSU, Wayne Blackshear—Louisville

While these are the top incoming frosh next year, Tommy Crean has locked down the soon to be dubbed no. 1 recruiting class of 2012 featuring Hanner Perea, Buss Patterson and Peter Jurkin.  Look for FST-*** star Yogi Ferrell to commit soon.  In addition, Crean has locked down 2 top 25 2014 players in 6’9 Trey Lyles and James Blackmon Jr.  It’s all about IU.

Check out Hanner yamming the ball, he’ll be doing this in B-town for 2 years before he’s in the league.

Kinda Funny Clowning on GREAT GM MATT MILLEN!!

Ok, so long story short Brandon Marshall swagged by throwing the football in Jay Cutler's face after a firstdown catch and got a penalty for 15 yards.  So, it was later discussed on air that the two were ex-teammates and have a history and have had 211 carrer catches/pass completions together.  Genius Matt Millen then goes and tries to be clever and goes "wow there goes 212" but clearly Brandon threw the ball to Jay and not the other way around so Matt's statement was just dumb and wrong.  Theismann calls him out on it and Matt goes derpppppp..this is just the kind of thinking and logic Matt Millen has.  When he tries to do something right and try and be clever and funny he still is wrong and that is how his general managing tenure went with the Lions. Funny. Not clever. Wrong. 0-16.

Theismann also clowned on him and goes Matt had no problem "managing" his cheeseburger (eluding to the fact that Matt "housed" that burger) and ironic b/c matt couldn't manage the Lions but essentially Matt Millen sucks and FST would never screw you over like he did/will.

FAN GRADE: F Chris Johnson RB ECU...probly not tho!

This is one of the reasons this blog isn't for you.  You were the one who when the Steelers took Rashard Mendenhall with the 23rd pick you're like "A" grade.  You are guilty for sure and then you lost all of your credibility when the Titans take Chris Johnson RB ECU and you give him a "F".  You're probably like who the hell is that and of course you are unknowledgable.

First play of the video against "EVERYONE's FAVORITE TEAM BOISE STATE!!! watch CJ pull away from D..last play of the video typical swing pass TD..I was AMAZED when i saw this video

Here's the video that made me go damn Dez is AMAZING!!

Wow!!

We would have already won our bet had I not pussed out.  The bet was a two team teaser Eagles +3 and over 37 points..paid out 16 on 20..there is 12 min left in 2nd quarter!!  20 what is the question??

And the Haterade

"Chris Johnson is overrated. He is extremely fast, but not a physical runner. We already have our speed guy in Parker. We need a strong, physical runner than can pound the ball. ANd we do NOT need a RB on the first day."

-FourThreeMafia (NFL Forum)

"Not a fan of Zbikowski, but he would be a quality addition to the special teams."

-FourThreeMafia

-can't believe he hated on me for Zbikowski too..

FST Scouting Report on Chris Johnson RB ECU 4.24

2. Chris Johnson RB This pick is very interesting, but I love it. This pick is an early 2nd rd pick and that is where you would have to pick him because he will be gone early in round 2. I wanted to trade this pick down for more picks but this guy is too good. He can fly, 4.27 speed, is elusive, and is a dude that will knock defenders over. Why RB? Just think about it, the other team is running after Willie all day and is getting tired. Just put Johnson in there and good luck catching him. He will be the new third down back and I like him in goal line situations to. He can also return kicks.

-This was from January 20 pre-combine 4.24 I projected him as an early 2nd rd pick
..to me this is just spot on scouting..loved chris johnson before he was chris johnson..just FST

this is the video i scouted..  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XhUhLtAC_Ok

Dez Bryant vs Maurkice Pouncey

I want to go on record in the 2010 NFL draft that I would've rather the Pittsburgh Steelers take Dez Bryant than Maurkice Pouncey with the 18th pick.  I believe Maurkice Pouncey is a Hall of Famer.  And I am telling you I would rather have Dez Bryant and that is saying something about my opinion about Dez Bryant.  They both have the highest ranking of three stars and for an OL to be a three star is extremely rare and as of right now he is the only OL three star in my rankings.  Dez Bryant brings an element to the game that many WR's don't have...pure explosion.  I love watching him play at WR and in the return game.  His # 88 is also so swaggy.  Ideally if you could have gotten both Pouncey and Dez that's two great players but if I can only choose one it has to be Dez Bryant.

FST Scouting Statement

I have always felt that scouting is the most important thing for any team of any sport.  Like it should not be a player's fault or fair that some white guy in an office can affect/effect their career.  I think of a player like Barry Sanders and that his career could have been much much more had his team had any other skill around him (on either side of the ball).  The Lions were so bad and Barry single handedly led them to a playoff game imagine if he was on the Cowboys, 49ers, or Steelers??? 20,000 yards had he played longer??

-Barry Sanders was my favorite player growing up

Response to Chris Mortensen about Colt Mccoy

Just tweeted in a response to ESPN senior analyst Chris Mortensen's tweet that he doesn't know any "draft evaluator" that loved Colt Mccoy.  Umm..I loved Colt Mccoy I almost wanted to say he was the #1 QB in last year's draft but Sammy Bradford was too good.

Brett Favre Happy He Came Back this Season

...umm he could make up to 28 million this year. Yes Brett is happy to get a million a pick b/c if he keeps playing he will end up with probably around 28 INT's.  So Brett is like I can throw the ball to their guys for a million dollars?? Damn, that is more than Wrangler is paying me (and Viagra). too soon? was Jenn late??

Check Out the "Awesome Sports Idea" For Clues

...it takes the idea of power rankings to a new level

..it also has a clue about the Saints 'realistically winning the next five games' and this was 14 dayss ago...

..i think i'm saying you could have won 5 weeks worth of bets

-i'm going to start working on the NFL and NCAAF player database with the 3 star system (FST) of ranking

Week 11 Power Rankings

1) New Orleans Saints
2) New England Patriots
3) Pittsburgh Steelers
4) New York Jets
5) Atlanta Falcons
6) Baltimore Ravens

9) New York Giants
10) Philadelphia Eagles
11) Tampa Bay Bucs
12) Miami Dolphins

Week 10 Results

I thought she was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. Just like cars I name parlays after girls and this is Staci (yes with an "I"). I thought she was a winner but unfortunately she is just a 7. When I cooked up this parlay I deemed the worst case scenario of 7-1 and I knew the only game that could trip me up would be the Bears/Vikings for various reasons I will talk about later. That is exactly what happened and had I hit this parlay I would have won $6000. Oh yes I forgot to mention that both bets included a 6.5 point teaser and Staci turned out to be a huge tease. Bitch.

Ravens (+7.5) W
Colts (-.5)  W
Patriots (+11) W
Texans (+8) W
Bucs (EVEN) W
Cowboys (+20.5) W
Jets (+3.5) W
Vikings (+5) L

Raquel is a winner tho

Lions (+9.5) W
Ravens (+7.5) W
Patriots (+11) W
Bucs (EVEN) W
Cowboys (+20.5) W

Unfortunately, this parlay is only going to win $160 and the other would have won $6000.

Overall I am pleased because my logic for these games was right on for each game and I will discuss my only loss of the day because almost only counts in "horseshoes and hand grenades".  During the week, I picked my seven winners (actually I liked the Dolphins and Seahawks if I was going to do a 10 team tease for 10K) but that is enough because all that matters is the Bears/Vikings game.  When I analyzed that game I thought if I lose this bet it is going to come down to that game so in essence I had a coin flips chance of winning $6000; which I would assume every person in the world wouldn't mind having.

I thought the Bears could pull that game out because they have a good defense that could contain AP (which they did), Childress sucks (does), Brett sucks (this year yes), @ home, Vikings banged up (Percy/Sydney), just traded a downfield threat in Moss, and THE WILDCARD (known to all as Jay Cutler).  I thought the Bears had a chance of winning this game and I could have still won this bet had they won by less than five....which is how they win (5/9 games decided by 5pts or less [before today]).  Wow this is complex. Ok so the Bears/Vikings historically don't have close games and either side usually will win by more than 7 points so as captain hindsight when I teased this game by 6.5 pts that was dumb because if the Bears would end up winning the game they would do so by over 7 pts.  But my logic is the Bears are not a 6 win team and if they somehow pull this out it is by the usual 3 or 4 pts.  This is where the wildcard come in.  I didn't watch the game but from the stats it looked like Jay played well (for him) and that is why we lost that game.  I expected him to throw his usual two INT's and I figured that would give us the edge but he also threw 3 TD's so that is why Jay is the "wildcard" when it comes to the Bears. I picked this as the one game I could lose b/c I smelled it when the week started and Accuscore (ESPN computer) picked the Vikings and they told me some ridiculous stat that the Vikings would win like 70% of the time if Jay threw 2 INT's (which I anticipated he would).  At the end of the day, I thought 5 points would be enough and it wasn't so we will have to postpone taking down Vegas for another week.  Fun Fact: when I woke up this morning (well 3PM) my mouth was like the Sahara from drinking last night and the only cold beverage in the fridge that isn't milk or OJ was 7UP.  The irony lies in that in my parlay 7 games were up, and one goes down (i.e. the BEARS, well I guess Vikings)

-How was Staci a 7 and Raquel a dime?!?

Bill Lynch (Indiana University Football Coach) Should Have Been Fired At Halftime!!

If the past three years of torture and a putrid football team wasn't enough, Bill Lynch was able to return this year after recording a whopping ONE conference win in back to back seasons.  It was an improvement in the conference standings from the previous year from 11th to tied for 10th so the future was bright for this "old, great coach".  But the real question is why is Bill Lynch here in the first place as well as his son and other staff?!?!?

Well Hep brought him in after seeing "great success" at BALL STATE where in one two year span he went 0-11 and 1-10 and then was fired two years later.  Then he inherited Hep's team and with Hep's team they went to the Insight Bowl where I ultimately cashed in on Oklahoma State and the very generous 4pt spread.

Indiana University doesn't have the first damn clue about sports and I say that because what kid in their right mind would want to play for Bill Lynch? I can't think of one reason.  (He is born and bred in Indiana tho but I hope they didn't merit that as a valid reason to hire him) I have called Bill Lynch a "random butt fuck grandpa" because that is essentially who he is.  He is no different than any other grandfather off the streets and I'm sure young athletes don't think of him as a "good coach" or "cool guy".  Yes Indiana hasn't gotten many recruits and one of the problems is the guy at the top..the head coach..the problem is Bill Lynch.

I am very good at stock speculation and after seeing Bill Lynch record one conference win in each of his two years with "his players" I would have never invested in Bill Lynch (i.e. bring him back this year).  And sure enough he has ZERO conference wins this year.  This isn't even being Captain Hindsight..it is just common knowledge.  What should be the nail in the coffin for him today is losing at Wisconsin 83-20.  Let me repeat that again 83-20.  I have heard by word of mouth from an IU football manager that Bill Lynch wasn't even allowed in the locker room at halftime..that is a start..I would have fired him on the spot.  The most embarrassing part about the whole scenario today is that Wisconsin had to replace the mascot because they scored too many points and the mascot was unable to do more push-ups.  It is a sad day in Bloomington and ironically it has been raining all day.

The only good thing to come from all of this is that at least justice will be served and Indiana University will realize that Bill Lynch is not a good coach and not right for our program.  Unfortunately, we had to allow 83 points for this to happen.  I have been rooting against Indiana University Football for two years now hoping that we would do bad enough for Bill Lynch to lose his job.  So, to me, today was a step in the right direction and something I have been waiting for for two years, but unfortunately, we had to get embarrassed for it to happen.  Bill Lynch has won TWO conference games in the past 21 attempts and has NEVER shown anything for him to keep his job.  The IU football team will NEVER EVER EVER EVER be good unless someone knowledgeable is running the show.  The laundry list of IU football problems is not limited to an overhaul of the coaching staff, questionable offensive/defensive schemes that need changed, few (if any) talented players, change the jerseys....again (they changed them last year), not enough funding, and finding a way to ACTUALLY get people in the stadium.  It is an uphill battle for sure and one that will take at least six years to turnaround unless Indiana University makes a bid for a big name coach such as: Mark Richt, Les Miles, Greg Schiano (Rutgers), or even just someone who knows the game of football.

I've heard rumors about Mike Leach and he isn't the answer either, but a huge upgrade over Bill Lynch. I would love to have Greg Schiano or at least a defensive minded coach.  One of my esteemed colleagues has mentioned Bronco Mendenhall as a possible replacement but we will see what happens...Fun fact: Wisconsin basketball only scored two times over 83 all last year and one of those times was against............the Hoosiers

-Thank God for Indiana Basketball and the 5 star recruits we have been getting. Next on the list: Yogi Ferrell

First Valid ESPN Argument

Brad Childress Sucks!!!

..no shit

Awesome Sports Idea

I have always thought it would be a great idea to have some type of exchange where you could buy and sell sports teams like stocks.  For example, say you want to invest in the New Orleans Saints because you think they are a great team, possible super bowl contender, and you know they play some cupcakes in the next few weeks you might want to invest in the team at current selling price of say $100/share.  After they win realistically the next five games their value would increase because more people would jump on the bandwagon.  Sweet idea and if you know what you are talking about like I think I do, you would make a lot of money $$$

Week 9 Power Rankings

1) Pittsburgh Steelers
2) New England Patriots
3) Baltimore Ravens
4) New York Jets
5) Indianapolis Colts
6) New Orleans Saints
7) Green Bay Packers
8) New York Giants
9) Miami Dolphins
10) Atlanta Falcons

...please note these teams are based on how I project them in the future and I will not be fooled by teams that aren't for real like the KC Chiefs, Bears, PHI, OAK, TN, Chargers.  I would compare the above teams (KC, CHI, PHI, etc) to Michigan State and Missouri who if you think they are good, they are not, and it is only a matter of time before their true colors show.  They are not an elite team like the Steelers, Ravens, and Pats (whom I would consider Alabama, Auburn, Oregon in NCAAF) and in case you missed it, Michigan State and Missouri lost this past week so time got the best of them..

Views From Pittsburgh vs New Orleans

I am going to love to see everyone jump off the Steelers bandwagon.  James Walker who is a Cleveland and unknowledgeable writer if I have ever seen one questioned the Steelers in the beginning of the year and after losing last night has found "holes" in the Steelers.  This man is the most clueless individual I have ever seen to write a column and he still thinks the Ravens are better than the Steelers...I will let the rest of the year (including the game @ BAL) do the talking for me so tune in December to show how dumb James is..

To me, a person who knows football know last nights game was won in the 2nd quarter and it came down to coaching/referees.  The challenge that Sean Payton won took momentum and 7 pts off the board (side note Randle El was on the 2 inch line not the 6 inch line but nevertheless) and then Tomlin doesn't challenge the Mendenhall TD on 2nd down so b/c the zebras botched the call and Tomlin is not a good "game manager"/"decision maker"the Steelers lose 4 points that would have been nice later in the game.

Second point is when the Steelers had the ball on the Saints 30 with 1:30 left. On a Chris O'Rorke coached team I don't challenge the special teams fumble, challenge the Mendenhall TD that was botched by the zebras, and now we have the ball with 1:30 on the Saints 30 with two timeouts instead of one and we are winning 7-0.  I open up the playbook to runs/passes/screens because we don't want Brees to get the ball back and would have definitely run a draw play because they wouldn't expect it.  You bleed the clock and kick a field goal to take a 10-0 lead at halftime and you have a different ball game.  You have a Steelers win and you don't have to listen to the media saying the Steelers aren't the number one team in the NFL.

Just educating because the media knows nothing...been saying the NFC is weak all year and would love another shot at New Orleans

Welcome to FST Scouting

FST Scouting does everything sports related including sports handicapping..oh ya we have been picking over 66% this year and one of my heroes John Anthony the million dollar man with the billion dollar plan picked 80% before crumbling like a cookie in the movie Two For the Money.  I pick every game during the NFL week and if you bet every game and I pick 60% of the games correctly you are guaranteed to make money.  We will release all of our picks next week and will include college games as well.  Expect to make some money from viewing this site so if that is not motivation enough to view this blog than I don't know what is..

Texans vs Colts tonight....we have Texans (+5.5)
--Love the Horse, first time going against them all year, but I just feel 5.5 points is too much

..Until then signing off..Good luck and Good gambling
